Whatґs all the fuzz about? I actually play with a G-suit on for the immerison. Hey, itґs a sim, you gotta get the most out of it! Is there others that breath heavily in high g`s? No wonder why all my mates shakes their head and laugh while playing with me! :lol:

I have dig into the mission builder to try to make missions myself and my mates wants to fly online. I have set up a mission with myself and mates as russian, and fighting US aircrafts. I have difficulties to get the B-52 to bomb/launch a missile at i.e a static object as a bunker. They only fly over it, flare and turn away from target...kinda frustating. So my question is as following: What target will the B-52 or other bombers attack/target? And another question: I have set up the Kutzneov (I know, wrong spelling problably) and I have set four SU-33 to take off from parking area. When I try to select SU-33 and another mate is selecting the SU-33, we both start at the ramp, resulting in a crash. Why donґt we start with wings liftet in the park area at the ship? Thanx in advance. :)

Thanx for the excellent program! I now got about 15 more fps! It was easy to understand what I tweaked thanx to easy explanation of each tweak. Thanx a lot, I can now fly online without stuttering problems like before! Rep inbound! :thumbup:

Maybe, he did tell my he had some "side panel" up and running while playing. I don´t know what side panel i Vista does, but it sure did warp him around! BTW: Why does everyone says you gotta use 128/128 when running a server? Is that beacuse of shorter packets?

I have a laptop running Lock On server. I then join my own game (another PC) via LAN, while my mate join via internet. I have the server on 128/128 and all connect with that settings. Yesterday, I got no lag, and my mate didnґt got any lag ether. My second mate got warped all over the place. He said everything lagged. The odd thing is for a week ago, I had three mates connected and my self. That time I got a bit of stuttering but no lag/warping. I belive I had a 2048/2048 setting. So for the question: If I join my own server via LAN, should I choose 10MBIT/LAN and my other mates 128/128? Or should I use 128/128? Why exactly 128/128? I have read that somewhere on the forum. I have 10 MBIT down and 2.5 MBIT upline. What settings would work best for me, and why does someone warp suddenly and other times no one warps around with more players? The mate who warped use Vista while we others use XP. De did restart his PC and the warp was almost done, so I donґt know why the warp suddenly was gone?

Check if you have shadows activated on "full" and not "active planar" or something.

Why arenґt you guys at virtual Blue Angels using the new Grandsurf airbase textures? Woud have been nice to see you all takeoff on the highly detailed runway! BTW: Is is easy to install this mod and uninstall it without interfering with other skins, textures etc? I am thinking of Ground pounder and Grandsurfs mod. I also have own skins of SU-27. Will these be affected in any way?

I just figured out why I had low "grassgraphics"! I had haze on basic. When I sat haze on advanced I got the same grass as the rest of you guys! Grandsurf: Please include this in the readme for further release. Advanced haze has to be set on to get the good looking grass you have made. I did not knew that so It really confused me! Homever I get a fps drop while having the haze on advanced so I will check how it will perform in multiplayer. It is sad that fps in single player and multiplayer is not equal...Someone make a better network code for Lock On. I can have 30 fps at lowest over a flyby low over a city and down do 15 fps in multiplayer...I have to set everything down to get good fps, and when everything is on low, Lock On does not look that good...:( -

You mean manually copying the files? I copied all the files manually in bazar/temptextures and it worked. Modmaninstall did not work for me. -
Well, I tried to uninstall everything again, and I still need to manually install the mod. Don´t know why everyone else don´t have any problems. I give a sh*t, I got it working! :) :thumbup:

Thatґs kinda strange. Maybe I should uninstall again, and then run a regcleaner to make sure every files is gone from registry. I know I installed a mod a couple of weeks ago. A fps tweakmod (TekaTeka I think). I have uninstalled it and I also deleted the entire LockOn folder before installing it again. Any suggestion? I will try uninstall, regclean, restart, install Lock On, then FC, then patch, then modman, then add mods? -

Well, I run both texure and scenery on high. My pic is taken after a clean install of Lock On and FC without Ground Pounder and 2X aliasing. I have low on effects and such, but not texture or scenery. -
Well, for me, Modman install did not work...Had to manually copy the files, but it worked after that. A nice install that put the files where it should be would be nice. (I know modman does exactly that, but didnґt work.

It worked when I manually extracted the files in the Bazar/temptextures folder. Donґt know why it wouldnґt work with Modman install. I also saw that the grass outside the runway looks kinda odd when looking at the scenery around the runway. Check pic. Very nice textures of runway btw! Nice feel when taking off! Looks very real! :) -

I give up...I uninstalled Western runway, and installed Grandsurf mod in modman and edited the graphic.cfg files....Is it possible to install this the right way? This is the first mod I have troubles installing! All other mods (I have A LOT of them) are all installed flawlessly! -

I uninstalled western runways, and downloaded the new high file at post 1, and then installed it through Modman. It is getting better, but I feel I am missing something. I have Ground Pounder mod installed also now to just test it. Is it working with Ground pounder btw? Here is a screen of what I see. I get some odd green colorborder around the runway. Feel I am missing some rubber too! -

Ok, I will try that when I got home from work! :) I think it´s good you released a beta so we can sort out errors and bugs due to installiations before the final release. It is not any fun to have this kind of problems with a final release. I am sure everyone will get this mod to work now as we have sorted some errors out! Keep up the good work Grandsurf and thank you again for releasing this beta. :thumbup: -

I installed the high verison, have an Nvidea 7600GT 256 MB card. Working on every game I got. I got some weird green colors around hangars, and many hangars are missing! Also the airbase has a black stripe around it. I have edited the cfg files correctly. Must say I am a bit dissapointed but hope there will be a fix to all errors! :thumbup: BTW: Do we need Ground Ponder to make it all work? I donґt have it because I like green threes... -

As with everything else in the computerworld...nothing works the way we want it to! I have difficulties installing this. Had to uninstall all my mods, download modman 6 or something version, then add all the mods again, and I see no change to airbase..BUT: I tried the extreme file, and will try the high. I also edited the cfg in graphic.cfg. I thought modman installed it all so you did not have to edit .cfg files? Also, is there any mods out there that collide with you mod Grandsurf? I think of western runways etc. Or is it compatibly with all? -
BTW: This beta does only change texture for airbase, not general scenery right?

It´s out? And why hasn´t anyone told us it that it can be downloaded at lockonfiles.com? Grandsurf, a download link would be fine! :music_whistling: I am downloading the beta right now, go to lockonfiles.com to download. (If you are not a member, you have to register for free to download from their site.) Really liked the 3 quality options! I will try all three to see what fps I will get! Really good work Grandsurf! Will fly with my boys tonight to check it out!
