  1. Can anyone tell me where the practice missions are located? The documentation is in the campaign's doc folder, and I do see mission files there, but I assume those are the campaign (and thus check flight) files. I don't see the individual training/practice missions listed anywhere among my training or individual missions within DCS.
  2. I think then it will simply be an issue of getting them on the official campaign list and getting a community feeling (more than I've seen expressed so far, which is overwhelmingly positive really) that they are as official and as necessary as Nevada is. I've not yet indulged as my only PFM aircraft is the A-10C and I don't feel systems competent enough to be tested, but I will say I'm eager to get there and try. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  3. I think we're getting there soon with the ED stamped user campaigns for sale. I think the likely answer is there aren't any at that level yet, and ED likely didn't want to underwhelm with the initial retail campaign. That said, I too would love any campaign that simulates the pilot candidacy phase and works us on a checklist of things more than navigating and simple weapons employment. Perhaps even practices ingress, egress, and low level radar evasion strategies. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk

  5. I wanna go to Las Vegas so bad I can taste the sleeze! Also, thanks for the channel. I'm always on the lookout for good DCS vids. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  6. Colo, ever since the new update adding the Shkval, the DCSpanelsPro app crashes whenever I select any of the options. It crashes no matter which option I choose: single MFCD, dual, Shkval, all result in a crash. Things to note: 1. I'm running the new server. 2. It appears the app crashes before sending any attempts to connect. Connections from the tablet never show up on the server program. 3. When running the dual MFCD, the tablet screen rotates before crash, implying that the instruction that crashes the app comes after the instruction to rotate the screen if that helps debug at all. 4. I've tried turning on and off various options to see if any single option is causing the crash, but so far I cannot tell. 5. Attempting to choose "Exit" as an option appears to have destroyed the app entirely, when I restart the app now, I get a crash when I start the app and cannot select any of the options. 6. This is on a freshly reset tablet, so very low chance of any other apps interfering with it. The tablet is a Nextbook 8HD. It's worked fine in the past, but I'm not sure what's causing it now. Hopefully this gives you some ideas as to what may be causing it. Crow.
  7. EDIT: CLR.DLL issue resolved by reinstalling Net 4.5. However, now I get nothing displayed on any of the panels in uMFCD. Do I need a custom monitor .lua ala idisplay or does uMFCD create one automagically? I seem to be having a bit of trouble setting it up too. Given what I've seen in DCS, I can only imagine it's an A-10C issue. (LUAs perhaps?) Flying the Mig-29s seems to dump the gauge data just fine, functioning as I assume it would with the A-10C. However, every attempt to fly the A-10C with uMFCD results in a crash in clr.dll, which appears to be related to NET 4.5. Fresh W7 install, NET 4.5 is there as per uMFCD's needs. Any ideas on what could be hindering my ability to load up the A-10C?
  8. Appreciate it, Colo! I know this is not likely to be added soon, but any chance we'll see A-10C gauges ala some of the other google apps (P-51 and UH-1) in the play store? I know they're not your apps, but that does seem to be the next logical step for this program. It seems now to be the only facet missing from a completely portable device cockpit. I've been envisioning a cockpit in which you simply slide your tablets or phones in and out of a mount and you're ready to fly. Highly portable and in many cases cheaper than the traditional multi-monitor setup.
  9. Resolved the first issue. I had not noticed both devices were attempting to connect on the same port. Set up custom ports on the devices and voila. Also, this is likely not related to Panels, but when using a certain OSB (it is either alt+r or shift+r, whichever the mission reset key was. Erasing or replacing the setting seems to do nothing.) the mission resets. I'm sure there is some means to disable it, but I can't seem to find any instructions on how to do so. Surely this is a .lua edit somewhere? Thanks all.
