What about the external model that's being worked on. Will it be released anytime soon? There were pictures shown on the newsletter from January 8.

After I edited Scripts/Database/db_countries.lua in order to add MiG-29A and Su-25 as playable aircraft by a specific country which by default is unable to use them I wanted to change the speech and callsign as well. For example when you place aircraft belonging to USA you can set callsigns such as Einfield 1-1, Chevy 2-4 etc, but when you place Russian aircraft the menu is different - you have a box where you can enter a 3 digit callsign. In the db_countries.lua all the countries that use the Russian callsign have copyTable(ru_Callsigns) which I believe is the code for using this type of callsigns in the Mission Editor. However changing the default code with this on my country does not work. By default China has the same code but it still uses the USA method for callsigns. :mad: I managed to change the speech sound files for the country I am editing from default English to Russian by modifying the Sounds/Speech/common.lua script file. However I cannot change the default callsign type from English to Russian for the desired country. Does anybody know how to? :helpsmilie: Thanks.

Have the same problem as well. Even made a thread about it earlier. Only during night flying, screen suddenly goes black with no signal.

Hello. DCS Open Beta has been crashing my PC but only when I fly at night. When flying during the day there is no problem. If I put the mission in night time that late when there is no sun at all, the game will crash. This is only for the Beta 1.5. I fly for a couple of minutes and then here's what happens: My screen goes black as if the GPU just went off. No matter what I press nothing comes up on the screen and soon the monitor says "No input. Entering sleep mode", so I have to restart my PC. System specs: CPU - Intel Core i5 3.2 GHz GPU - NVidia GeForce GTX 560 2gb VRAM Memory - 8gb I have more than 10gb free SSD space where I installed DCS Beta. I have only flied at night twice. I don't want to mess up my PC by risking to do it again. Both times I flew MiG-29A but I doubt it's the plane module that's causing this problem. I also searched but couldn't find anyone else with a similar problem, so I apologize if this has been posted before without my knowledge. Thank you. :helpsmilie:

I am having hard times killing Humvees with S-5 because the rockets are not landing exactly on top of the vehicles.

Lots of planes missing for the new countries that have been added. I believe they are making skins for them which is something unimportant for the time being. They should implement those dual rail launchers. I don't know why they haven't already. I've always wanted to launch s-8 rockets with Su-27 or Su-33. 2 or 4 pods just isn't enough.

For the Su-25T (I don't have Black Shark) I just turn off and turn on the laser again and this removes the timer.

Sorry I only watched one stream where he only fired air to air missiles from the Su-27. I will look at the other stream videos.

Yes, I also noticed this problem with the radar mode in the MiG-29. Very annoying. I hope it's fixed in the next update.

Any info on MiG-29 cockpit release date?

Yes, please fix it, it's impossible to hit anything with laser guided missiles at the moment.
