Those are for workstations and servers though, you want to be aiming for 8700K and 8600K when building a new rig for DCS as of now. Those are for Socket LGA 1151 Mainboards. With "1080 Ti Upgrade" I guess you mean the new Nvidia GPU Generation which will release in July/August the earliest. The "Ti" cards come out about 6 to 9 months after that.

This is obviously a bug which a lot of vpilots have and you kind of said: yeah, then just don't use the TWS in eagle, its one of THE key features of the plane man. KA50 pilots should fight without their VIKHRs aswell or what? Same attitude. First suggest a stupid idea to a bug, then someone explains further your idea and shows how _not_so_good_ it is and then claim he's offtopic instead of being man enough to admit it. Sweet. I'm not taking you serious in any aspect, my time is precious. I can confirm again that the first run seems to be no problem considering TWS lock stutters (104th phoenix). After that stutter will occur when using TWS lock and I've found that the more radar contacts (possible TWS locks, including friendlies) you have on the screen, the more it stutters. If you can seperate a contact using the edges of the radar cone its giving me less stutter than as if there would be 1+. It's still noticeable, it works for me and helps a bit, even if it sucks to be forced this way.

No, the issue doesn't disappear. You can't really stay airborne and fight bandits effectively if you are not able to use TWS mode, AIM-120s are intended to be used in combination with TWS. That's one difference between flanker and eagle (flanker must hold radar lock to home their missiles until splash in BVR afaik, with TWS - eagle must not) Yes you can unlock and the frames come back and then what? You go freeflight or kamikaze into hostile flankers? Let me see that, especially on a elite server. :doh: How is that not related to what kind of missiles you carry? As I said, 120s are supposed to be used in TWS mode. And how Sparrows get guided? Right - in STT as you say yourself. You say just go STT and the "issue disappears" which implicates you need to have Sparrows loaded in the first place. If you go 6x120s + 2xSidewinders how can that work? STT is useless here in BVR considering this setup. I seriously have no clue how you come to the conclusion I have said that 120s are used in STT and Sparrows in TWS. At the end of the day this remains as bug (maybe on DCS:W side, maybe 104th serverside) or do you intend to say that's the way ED want it? That you can't use 120s in TWS mode? I doubt that. Don't deny that theres something wrong.

I really doubt slot count should be increased performancewise, 55 slots are very high already. Slot count/second server surely could be operated, feel free to pay a decent amount of dollars to 104th staff :thumbup: Server isn't "full all the time", stop exaggerating. It only happens on peak times on weekend evenings. Going STT mode is just a workaround and gives out information to enemy which is not intended and necessary aswell if it wouldn't be bugged. Plus it forces you to carry Sparrows instead 120Cs. +1 having the exact same problem, happened to me twice on 104th server (didn't fly on any other server since this issue). The first run it works flawless, after first landing and going airborne again it occurs (can pin it down neither, what the f?) Immersionbreaker par excellence.

DCS Series will have A+ future, think longterm. Imagine DCSW 10+ years from now . Breathtaking work from ED since they officially announced that EDGE won't arrive on estimated timeframe. I was kind of stating exactly the same just a short time before you posted your comment. Overteasing is a thing, you're reaching a point where it's working counterproductive, making some people to even quit (!) (including you & and me for example). I told it's now being very arrogant from ED to ignoring us customers when asking for some small news (3 Sentence FB update?). No, it is crazy, my post got deleted - im not lying, after 2 minutes - and was 101% DCSW2 related.
