It would be great if you could merge my editor starting formation mod: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=178150 I can also rebase the mod, as I didn't maintain it for a while.

i use ovgme, but copying the files over the original ones, should be as good as. are you sure you have the latest version?
-
latest version starts here with 2.5
-
yes this was merged some time ago with the rocket mod, but it might be that new rocket warheads are not adjusted
-
I guess not, I don't know what kind of projectiles artillery uses, would need to check if they are special defined somewhere

yes it is right in the first post, the .zip file
-
No, this is just for easier initial setup of ground unit positions, once they start to move they will follow ED's formation rules

updated for DCS 1.5.8

I updated the mod to work with the latest versions of DCS and also added a input field to change the distance.

Hi! I uploaded a new version 1.0.4. I didn't change any values or added any warhead stuff, but i restructured the mod. Now the changes are done in a seperate lua script file that is called after all original values are written and the modded values are overwritten. This has 2 advantages: Now it is easier to see what values are changed (without using a diff tool) Future changes from ED in the warheads.lua file shouldn't break the mod(until its a big change) Cheers, Rene
-
uploaded a fixed version. It wasn't completely the original version, I made a mistake while merging some values and the A-A warhead got mixed up with the A-G warhead
-
damn, you are right. I'm currently away from home and can't access my dcs machine. If you have the version before I could fix it, if you upload the file somewhere, otherwise you guys would need to wait until Thursday. Cheers

Hi Virtuyoz! I noticed in ACMI file version 2.2, you know also export the DCS coordinates. Will this stay?(I hope so) and could you update the ACMI file documentation with the new T= arguments?
-
Yes it would be possible, you can already rather easily change the default value in the me_vehicles.lua, line 572. The thing I didn't put it in yet is I have no clue where I should put the input field. I rather don't want to rearrange the whole dialog, as this will make maintaining the mod a lot harder. Maybe I could put it below the initial checkbox. I will have a look.

updated for 1.5.6 + headings of the current vehicle will now copied to the rest of the group
