Hi guys, I glanced through the thread, did not find the solution. I get this problem 50% of time running the quick Dogfight mission. I don't touch any switches. Sometimes it happens couple of minutes into the fight, and I must lower the rpm to almost idle. What is it??

Hi, I watched the track, it was long and boring )) I also found the new 27 easy to stall (which you didn't), but setting my pitch and roll curves to 20 helps it. Also, my buttkicker gives nice feedback to avoid stalls.

Dear ED, Firstly, thanks for the game and the new Su-27 plane! I have one problem with it. In a stall, which is too easy to enter and impossible to exit, my Buttkicker Gamer2 shakes so violently that my neighbors hear it and I am afraid it will break/burn. In the normal Su-27 flight, it is the opposite - it humms, but the volume is so low, that it automatically enters sleep (this feature cannot be disabled). On engine startup and during takeoff/landing, the vibrations are just perfect! I have it connected to .1 (subwoofer) channel, so it is in your power to set the range of the noises. Other DCS planes, especially WW2 ones, seem to have it calibrated much better. PS. Also, if you can, please borrow the gear deployment sounds from Su-21bis. They are awesome!!! )))

Clarification. Mouse in cockpit moves but does not change cursor when hovering and does not click anything. It is sufficient to Ctrl-Alt-Del and ESC to come back to the game where it is now fixed! Weird... EDIT: Another symptom is that DCS mission does not appear in my system tray and task switcher (Alt-Tab), but does in Task Manager!

Nope. Maybe it has something to do that I launch DCS from Target and it does not completely "get focus" over other windows?? After Ctrl-Alt-Del and Task Manager, I can also Alt-Tab to DCS and it then works normal. But mind you, I have this config for a few months and the problem only appeared recently.

No, 1920x1080, as my TV. Did not update NVIDIA drivers or anything else on PC recently...

Hello. This bug happens 90% of the time for me. I press ESC to end the mission, mouse pointer moves but cannot click any menu items. Pressing ESC again closes the menu and resumes the game. ALT-TAB and Window Key have no effect either. The only way to end the game is to press Ctrl-Alt-Del and kill it in Task Manager. Windows 7 x64. It started happening after the last two updates for all planes...

Yep. With engine off I got exactly 14:1. Idle engine must be doubling it. It is just a sharp contrast to how landing a Mig-21bis feels...

Hello again, I bought this module quite recently (at flash sale) and noticed right away there was something wrong with its flight model. I just couldn't land the thing without air brakes and constant slipping. Today I ran a simple test, it flew 7.5 km, engine idle with AIS 200, and only lost 225 meters of altitude. This gives a glide ratio of 33:1 - crazy for a jet!!! Wheel brakes also seem week when landing. Belsimtek, please check your friction parameters. Thanks!

My ability to use radio in campaign disappeared after the last upgrade. Arrrgh (( Edit: And RBSN does not work anymore! No sound/green lights, BUT it arrow is NOT at 45 degrees either... ((

The bug is still there after the last update ((( The lock sound, once started, continues throughout the mission, making it difficult to use IR missiles....

A better instant Dogfight mission Hi guys, I just made a more fair and fun version of the dogfight. MIG-21bis vs. MIG-21bis, using R-60 and guns. If you live, you must land on the X!!! Just put it in C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\MiG-21BIS\Missions\EN\QuickStart instead of the original one. Sorry if all this was reported elsewhere. First of all, thanks Leatherneck for the great bird!!! 1. (most annoying personally). IR lock buzzer won't shut up until engine shutdown. Audible in map and external views. 2. Everything seems "moody". I have "Random System Failures" = off and "simplified engine management" = on, but still: a) engine may not start at all (try several auto start and shutdown cycles, throttle at idle or a bit forward). b) radar may not start, even after several minutes in standby c) hud grid and piper may fail to appear. tried everything (I mapped arming all systems to one Warthog button) d) target is locked and two red lights on the left side of the radar are on, but rockets (sometimes!) won't fly. Other times they fly without any lock and without using "emergency release" button e) I set up 1 on 1 vs AI mig-21bis. He always locks me from far away, but I can never see him on my radar (I know angle limitations)... f) Bombs don't kill tanks in "ground attack" mission. g) Wingman on channel 0 and/or ATC on respective channel sometimes do not hear me. As if my radio died... 3. Excessive shaking while taxi (2g, really?) and takeoff. I lift my nose very carefully, but still scratch the tail quite often. 4. I noticed that all multiplayer servers stutter first 5 minutes after I join if they have MIG-21bis. 5. (minor) Wheel brakes are hissing if controlled from keyboard, but not hissing when mapped to an axis. 6. Suggestion: would be nice to have key bindings for RBSN/PRMG and radio channel selectors, and also axis mapping for labels and instruments backlight (can be one for both). Sorry again if this info is redundant and you are working on these already!

Noticed several times in various missions/airplanes. "/" button for comms menu either stops working in flight or from the mission start. Going to settings and pressing it highlights the right line. Pressing the button by mouse in the cockpit also brings up the menu. Mistery... Separate issue: sometimes no reply from nearby ATC or wingman on the correct channel. Mostly happens in 21 bis...

I have sent a bug report to ED, but was told to "use our forum wish list for such items". I do think they have either low threshold for acceleration red-outs or some random acceleration spikes. Red-outs from a negative g is different, it starts from screen edges and progresses into blackout. What I experience is a red flash across top part of the screen and immediate darkness. The vision returns gradually over 5 seconds or so... Black screen with the need to reboot seems like a hardware problem though ((
