you ad a small plane( a geometric plane!) than you texture it with a tga with alpha channel.. put the correct argument increase the self illumination then you gut a bulb.. adding real light is not possible..

agreed.. 3d has nothing to do with programming... and also will no help to programming..

ok.. We have bot fly'n fallowing a pattern, joining in formation, identifying enemies, fires and sometimes gets a kill in this game. Imagine that the same program (or a much more advanced one) controlling one of these things, or a deadlier one.. It is not sci-fi anymore.. But.. we all familiar with the concept of programs gone haywire (we all use windows right?). This scares me man!

I love vista too... its lightning fast. Steady Beautiful And beats XP on vray render like 3 times hands down.. It just have a problem on my lockon installation.. And i think the reason is DX8... At BF2, World in conflict, and other new games it is a blast!

same issues here.. but remember we are try'n to play a at least 4 years old game which have directx8 technology with dx10 hardware and software with a baby OS..

i have 2 rigs.. One for games and one for work (graphics and 3D) Work machine is Vista Ultimate 64bit 2x Dualcore Opteron 940 (2200mhz x4) 4 gigs of ram 8800 GTX 4x WD Raptors (10.500 RPM) with stripe raid Game machine is Xp Professional 32bit Athlon 4400 x2 2 gigs of ram 7900GS (256 mb memory version) Seagate barracuda 300 And on my game machine Lockon is Faster!, Looks way more beautiful, Runs smoother.. I think only reason is compatibility issues with DX10 and DX8. Hardware and software wise..
