Still checking?
-
Hey matbog, awesome work. Are you going to try and get a M2K stick for your cockpit build? Also do you know if Dimebug is still going to release the M2K throttle files for download?
-
Sounds good  Howd you go with the throttle grip? Did the blueprint posted on hornet pits help out at all?
-
I voted Mirage IIIC because it was operated by a lot of countries, and in my opinion whilst it is nowhere near the most capable it is the most legendary; it was the 6 day war jet! Edit: and we may not have a map for the CJ (yet?), I'm still happy blasting around the Persian Gulf.

Capt Zeen F/A-18C Beta Helios Profile ! ! !
Myst replied to Capt Zeen's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Thanks capt zeen. I just figured it out by accident - didn't know you could lock things  No worries, once I fix it all up I'd be happy to share. I made the profile so that the left and right screens fit my MFD cougar bezels, but I made the centre screen the same size as the upgraded Hornet AMPCD which is a lot bigger than the one ingame. -
Capt Zeen F/A-18C Beta Helios Profile ! ! !
Myst replied to Capt Zeen's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Hey guys, I'm using a modified Capt Zeen profile with a larger centre display, however I want to get rid of the reflection overlays. How do I do it? I've tried everything  -
Are there any available STL files for the UFC itself?
-
I might have misinterpreted the pic but it looks like in that model you require the finger lifts to get past the AB gate?
-
If the design is pretty flex I'd like to mod the HSD into the bigger upgraded version
-
Wasn't the Dagger a modified Mirage V, whereas the Finger (the upgraded Dagger) the ~Kfir C.2 standard?
-
Happy with either one (but I voted Mirage III). A Mirage variant is essential, such a legendary jet.
-
Straight to 60 alpha, gear and alpha tone as I ride the jet into the ground. First thing.
-
Holy hell though even with 'foveated rendering', my rough hack amateur estimate based on my Vive is that the Google headset is going to take one monster of a computer... Having said that...it sounds pretty ideal.

Suncom SFS and Talon restoration and mods
Myst replied to debolestis's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I went and bought the Suncom F-15E Hawk without realising that the trim hat and the coolie switch were non functional -
I thought BMS was the only sim? - Unknown Falconeer

I'm sure it's fine in P3D.
-
Yeah that's what I was going for. Where'd you get it?
-
Man, I really want to read this but I think she's getting hard to acquire!
-
Looks awesome - people are going to go nuts over these. Also, sorry but I have to ask...Any F/A-18 panels? ;)
-
That's right! Not to be mistaken for another big bird, the F-14 'Aluminium Cloud' ;)

Now I feel like an a-hole for calling your products vaporware. Its never a constructive thing to say... :poster_oops: I've been watching this thread from the start and while its not exactly what I first thought it would be, you've got some valid reasoning for that so I think I'll just hope for the best and keep watching (and waiting...to throw down some dollars).
-
Indeed. Perhaps it will come bundled with a copy of Fighter Ops?
-
Yeah that build does 'suck'. I almost bought one of these but I've bypassed it in favor of a more DIY solution. As for the movement though - you'll definitely know when you pass through the center point of either axis on the real F-18; there's a discernible 'bump' (probs due to the centering force, but nonetheless it is there).
-
The F-5 is a more accurate contemporary, I'd agree. Honestly though it's proper opposite number is the Mirage III.
-
Such a pity, their Mirage III stick looked great :(
