The FSSB R3 Lighting is the newest one right? I confused myself as I thought its plug and play, but you actually have to remove the electronic board and put it in the fssb....

I'm Running win 10 with update 1903. I have tried global resolution and application resolution. I have bought VRfps from steam and have it set to match the Reverbs resolution. DCS PD is set at 1.0, but I played with that as well. Motion Smoothing doesnt seem to be working and i dont know where to turn it on. SteamVR settings show me neither Reprojection nor Motion Smoothing in the bottom left corner above the graph.

tried both the stable and beta Steam... also tried all the custom resolutions, with no difference in DCS image.... no glasses, no contacts.... running an i7 7700k, GTX 1080 and 16 gis ram. I know its low end for Reverb but should not have anything to do with the image quality of the reverb, rather than how smooth DCS is... Once I see Reverbs image is much better, I can upgrade PC, but so far it looks just like the Rift s

just got my reverb..... is it possible that i cannot tell a difference from Rift S to Reverb? Ive only played with the steamVR setting for a bit (uber confused) but for the life of me, I cannot tell a resolution difference. Only difference is the stuttering and poor quality for buildings and ground when looking to the left or right...

Sorry, I am having some difficulties. I installed the labels with success, but when trying to add the reduced textures it gives me an error (using OVGME) saying that the files from the label textures would be overwritten? Both the reduced cockpit textures and the labels go in the game folder, not the saved game folder, correct? Or are the labels part of the reduced cockpit texture file? What am I doing wrong? Also, the custom cockpit setting in the special tab under DCS settings only shows me the "default" cockpit... shouldnt that show me an option or

Hey all. Apologies, but I did not read through every post.. I am looking to buy the HP Reverb Pro from Amazon. How would I know its the generation 2 or not? Shouldn't all Reverbs, sold now, be "fixed"?

What exactly is your display glitch with head movement? Mine goes from working perfectly to all of a sudden not tracking properly anymore. The tracking itself however based on my real head movement is fine, however the menu moves with my head. So basically if I lean in to see the menu closer, the menu leans in with me and stays at the same distance As for my 2080ti update.... I will have to update CPU and MB as wel down the road. I’m only running an i7 7700.

Thanks for your reply. I did buy a pci USB card with 5 usb 3.0 ports, but it gave me even more trouble for some reason. Black screen and 3 loading dots among other errors. I am thinking about getting a GTX 2080ti and use that USB-C port.... any feedback on that?

I keep getting problems where it goes from working perfectly fine to not tracking properly anymore. Basically when I move the menu moves as well. I have a suspicion that it is my USB 3.0 port but no other port on my MB or PCI card will work at all. Tells me to update my USB 3.0 drivers. Also gives me an error that says my headset cant track my movement etc.... Apologies for not looking through every post in here, but I was hoping this is a quick fix and I am just missing something.

Hey all. I was wondering if anybody is experiencing challenges with the rift sensors being recognized? I seem to have issues with the USB ports. It asks me to switch USB ports and only gives me a black screen, or 3 loading dots in the headset. Apologies if this was discussed before, Search didn’t give me any results

Hey there, I upgraded to the Oculus Rift S and want to get rid of my old CV 1. Comes with 1 base station and that little remote thing. Also have an xbox controller that came with it (??). Thinking $150+ shipping, but will take offers... Shipping from the US //edit: it has been sold!

I was looking forward for that VR performance patch, but it didn’t seem to have made any change. But again, I have been gone for a while and might be missing something

I bought the Rift S a while back, but then didn't have any chance messing with it. Today, I just tried it out for a bit. It is much sharper then my old CV1, however my FPS are certainly suffering. I am sitting at 40 frames with 1.3 PD. Is that about average for an GTX 1080? Also, my right eye seems to be blurry while my left is clear. I guess my 58 IPD doesnt quite work well with it. Its bearable, but not ideal. I must admit, I read a little through this post, but was not able to catch up with all posts. Have there been any performance TIPS to enhance the FPS with the Rift S in DCS? many thanks

It works pretty well. I haven’t had too much time in it yet tho. If it gives me any trouble, I’ll mount it up front. I bought some 3D printed mounts for it. But I’m also waiting for the Rift S with inside out tracking, which makes the sensor obsolete. As for the wife giving it a side eye.... took some heavy convincing. She played me tho, as now we have a giant credenza in the living room, that I was unable to disagree with, ha

Good day all, I wanted to share my hideable VR box simpit, or whatever you want to call it. After seeing maverickturner's stowable VR pit (https://imgur.com/gallery/PCZB4) I got inspired to do my own. Not quite as fancy and/or good looking, but I wanted to share anyway. I use it solely for VR. Only thing I am waiting for is to buy the TM pendular rudder pedals. Let me know what you all think. Cheers,
