Hello all, I am trying to sell my Pro Flight Trainer Puma. I bought it about two years back, but only used it for a few month, as I focused more towards fixed wing aircraft and not helicopters. It served me well and was a lot of fun. Probably the best “affordable” cyclic and collective. At least when I bought it. Unfortunately one switch on the collective isn’t working anymore, but it didn’t bother me. It was released October 22nd. Samsung has it listed in their webpage but when you click “where to buy”, it shoes you “no online vendors”

Great answers. I figured the odds would be even more on the pilot side. Quite exciting to see so many wanting to go RIO. As I said before, I think it’s going to make for some really new dynamics in multiplayer. Flying together and getting to know how the other reacts etc. just like these stories of old Rio/ pilot combos

Evening All! Fist off, I am beyond excited about the F14. As so many of us, this is one of my favorite planes since I was a child. I am looking forward to being able to have RIO in multiplayer. It is going to be an absolute game changer. That brings me to my questions of who is looking to be a RIO, and who is looking to be a Pilot. My ultimate goal would be to find a permanent RIO. Who do you all feel about something like that. Are you all exited to mess around with both, focus on one, or just fly along in single player with Jester? Creating my first poll today. Ok, so I have been successful in binding my toggle switches to gear, hook etc. However what I am experiencing now, is that these toggle switches have to be "activated". If I dont use them for a while, lets say landing gear, they I have to toggle them back and forth to make them work again. So lets say I lift off, raise gear with toggle switch up. When I fly and later on want to land gain, I cant just move the toggle switch down, I have to move it down, up and then down again for it to be recognized. Any idea if i am missing anything in my lua line? Look at the lua command below please:

Has anybody messed with the F18 lua yet? I haven’t had much time to play around but first look at the F18 default.lua etc., everything looks a tad different than in the Harrier, or other modules. Has someone successfully added a toggle switch for the various switches in the Horbet? Gear, master arm, etc.?

Thanks Hollywood, for the quick reply. I played around with it a bit but still don’t get it to work properly. I’m getting confused with the force call sign and force NATO atc etc. regardless if this is turned on or not, it always works when I say “request taxi to runway”. Shouldn’t it require my call sign and atc name if this is checked on? So it should only work it i say “nellis enfield request taxi to runway”

Sorry, this might be a silly question. I got everything to work so far and am just playing around with it. Doing a free flight over Nevada and trying to get vector info form different airfields. When I call Henderson, for instance, I would say "Henderson request vector" (just like in the manual - easy comms on and no call signs needed) Voiceattack log tells me (awaiting additional input). What am I missing here? Thanks guys, and Hollywood. Ive been using VAICOM since early on and I must say, you are a genius. I would have paid way more for the pro license! //Edit: Tried the same ting with taxi to runway, or request engine start and getting the same message about awaiting additional input //edit2: I’ve played around with it a tad more and figured out that, if I use the call AFB name before my Command it gives me the additional input message. Yeah it just seems that there is something wrong with my key sequence. Don't think it's VAICOM, as the atc auto function seems to work, as it tunes to the closest Atc. Must be he static atc mod maybe but other than using the latest radio com files from sthompson, I can't think of what could it be. They go under the dcs/ scrips folder correct? Excited for the new version. I'll send you my log asap

I'll look at the log again and will post it once I'm back at my computer. As for the actual cause of ending up in the tonapah comm menu, it seems like there is one wrong command in there somewhere that causes VAICOM to not go to the right comm menu. I changed the radio lua files from sthompson but it didn't seem to work. Could you elaborate on how VAICOM is setup with comm menu? Is it using the radio lua files? It doesn't work with the F keys at all does it? Again hanks a lot for your time here, it's truly appreciated

Im struggling guys.... ha Got everything to work just fine with DCS 2.1.6. Downloaded the latest static ATC as well as imported the new VAICOM Towers into my profile. Problem is, that I am still getting the wrong ATC when calling. I am on Nellis and when i request startup it puts me in the Tonapah comm menu. Same with Mc Carren.... Can anybody assist me?
