  1. This would explain the different behaviour when flying high vs flying low, as you can see in the screenshot and the video. And.. yeah, it's the horizon line that's shifting.
  2. NMOMRntj-DE As you can see in the beginning of my turn, I keep the FPM centered. In this case my VSI indicated a dive. After leveling out (and still keeping the bank), the FPM was offset.
  3. You are correct. I just pressed the HSI mode select button and it switched to true heading. Hence, no bug and this report can be dismissed. :)
  4. I'll quickly record a video of the behaviour.
  5. The FPM is shifted vertically while banking. As you can see on this screenshot, it's centered while flying straight and level (watch the VSI) However, when I started banking, it dropped below the horizon, even though I was slightly climbing during the turn
  6. The heading on both the HUD and the HSI is off by five degrees, as you can see on these two screenshots. First screenshot - heading on HUD and HSI is 040 Second screenshot - true heading is 046 This has been reproducable since the first version of the Mirage came out.
  7. Except for when it's a friendly who mistook you for a foe. :D
  8. There is one activation added every month. Guess in the case of screwing up, you could hit up the ED support.
  9. You will feel it a bit nonetheless.
  10. bmiMUXS-O9Q (at around 00:35) Even more dangerous in-flight.
  11. Do you have any crosswind in your mission? You can see it in the mission briefing if I recall correctly.
  12. No it's definitely not. The issue is still around.
  13. These are just a few seagulls, they have nothing to do with the birdstrike settings nor can they cause one.
  14. This would also reflect the behavior of most modern US military planes.
  15. Yeah.. I thought it might be fixed with the latest update but it wasn't. Additionally, the heading shown on the HUD is off by about 5 degrees.
  16. After taking a look at this video, it seems to me as if the approach mode on the HUD should engage as soon as the airspeed drops below 200 knots. Can anyone confirm or deny this assumption? I don't think the pilot would engage the approach mode prior to ejecting.
  17. The F-35 is easily the most hated military US plane for no apparent reason.. So many BS articles, just like that F-16 comparison a few months ago.
  18. These are Mustang's terrain textures. You can find the mod somewhere on here and install it. Guess they removed them due to a few small issues.
  19. Usually DCS updates were coming out on Fridays and since there are some rather urgent bugfixes, I think ED has set some priority on pushing them out. Don't take my word on it tho, but it seems very reasonable.
  20. Orthodox christmas is celebrated on the 7th of January. Since ED is located in Russia, they just came back this week. I'd say Friday will be the day.
  21. Its actually fairly easy to recover from a flat spin in a twin-engine aircraft. Just apply thrust on the engine opposite to the spin side and idle the other one. Full rudder should be applied as well. I was able to recover from induced flat spins in the Su-27 and F-15.
  22. Now, two months later, it still appears to be like that. Recorded a video this time. SeQNyQWuHNs
  23. This reflects real life. In the real MiG-29 there only is a HUD repeater.
