Virtual United Air Festival 2015 - 24th & 25th October
Vectury replied to VTB_Bingo's topic in Community News
Looking forward to it! -
Agree. The Mirage 2000C's role was mainly as a fighter/interceptor. The 2000D is more focused on air-to-ground. I would perhaps call the D as more multirole capable than the 2000C. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I would love to see the Mig-25PD and the Mig-25BM. Maybe the latter is the most interesting one since the Mig-25's air-to-air/dogfighting capabilities are rather limited. I see it performing well in a high speed penetration of the enemy's airspace, while destroying SAM sites and ground radar stations before others can intercept it.

Now there is a great idea! Also it would be nice if mission builders could add their own squadron skins, for all who join the server to see.

Next DCS (US) Fixed Wing Aircraft Wish List
Vectury replied to diecastbg's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I think a F-16 would be epic. It's extremely versatile so it can carry out a wide range of missions. And probably most non-RU players come from countries where this plane is the main fighter/bomber of their country's Air Force. I would pay dearly for that module :joystick: -
M-2000C for DCS World by RAZBAM - Available for Pre-Purchase
Vectury replied to MemphisBelle's topic in M-2000
I believe it was indeed the pilot that pulled out of the dive. I guess a change of underwear for the WSO was in order. :D -
Another member here! :pilotfly:

Amen Zaelu! +1 It's fun to speculate though. But indeed, expect nothing until the next module is announced.
-
FC3 should be called the 'DCS starters pack'. A lot of bang for your buck, even at full price. I honestly see it as a must have. After that, just get whatever type you like flying most (A2G, A2A, choppers...) Personally, as an A2A pilot, I am loving the Mig-21bis. It's an impressive module that gives massive satisfaction if you get it right.
-
More rain effects would be nice. And using dx11 is proving great for fps so the game can definitely handle more. I just hope they won't make the runway too slippery for the sake of landing and *blowing tyres* in a SU-27
-
The idea is great! I just hope the integration of such comms will go smoothly if someone eventually develops it.
-
I have just done this, and at the moment it running just fine. If Whitehot's solution eventually fails, i'll use this as a stop gap fix until a better one comes along.

A big hello to other L-39 owners! :bye_2: I'm having a blast in the L-39. It's a fun plane to fly. But i'm really looking forward to the L-39ZA. 2xFAB-100's or 2xUB-16's just won't cut it. :D
-
Agree. It should be the last addition to the Mi-8 so the module is then officially finished.
-
I hope either the A-7E, the A-6 or the S-3B. That would make a great addition to the game
-
A Vietnam environment would be nice, but i'd rather have an F-4 Phantom II module first. That way the Mig-21 will finally meet its natural enemy. So I'd say modules first, then the map. Besides, there is plenty of tasty stuff currently in development. :bounce:
-
I completely agree. If people want to fly the A-10C on an 80's scenario then they should simply find a server that satisfies their needs. By the way, i would love to have a server where the MIG-21bis is the main fighter for the red's. So when the Dassault Mirage F1 and/or the Northrop F-5 come out, there could be a server focused on the 1970's too.

I bought a Yefim Gordon's book last weekend, namely "Soviet/Russian Aircraft Weapons - Since World War Two". Since i only started reading it yesterday, i can't give you an answer right now, but i will have a look with regard to weapons and guidance systems. :book:

Wow, impressive vid!

How many modules are you REALLY proficient at?
Vectury replied to Pizzicato's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
I would say I am proficient in the following: Mig-29/SU-27/SU-33 C-101 I can do basic operations in the following (but still need more practice before i can say i'm proficient with it): SU-25T F-15C SU-25 Mig-21 UH-1 KA-50 I can cold-start/takeoff/land: Mig-15 Mi-8 Still need to properly learn: A-10C (saving the best for last) F-86 Sabre Combined Arms -
Thank you Oscar for being straightforward. I am happy to hear that you guys didnt give up on the project despite encountering difficulties. I can say that i really enjoy flying the C-101 and i'm sure that once the C-101EB it will rival the L-39 and become one of my favourite modules. Keep it up!

Sold as well!!! GJ ED  -
With a fully loaded Mig-21, without losing any of the ordenance :megalol: Beautiful scenery by the way! NTTR is looking epic!
-
By the way, as for multiplayer, i found a really nice server to just mess around at. It's called [Open Conflict]. It is setup in such a way you can just do whatever you want and try A2A or A2G really easily. You should definitely check it out! :joystick:

Sounds good!
