Euh, correct me if I'm wrong, but last time I checked the Huey still had flare dispensers on the tail section. Or are you refering to Woogey's independent flare dispensers idea? EDIT: Chaff would be a nice addition. Some UH-1's were equipped with both flares and chaff countermeasures dispensers. The US Navy had Huey's with the RR 129 A/AL tactical Chaff cartridge. Here is a link to a part of the International ECM handbook: https://books.google.be/books?id=Y8kePYFK1L8C&pg=PA100&lpg=PA100&dq=uh-1+chaff&source=bl&ots=hODdAKrgr7&sig=ysuCPeBNi7YXRJ9UqXcBB6-m5js&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0CC4Q6AEwAmoVChMI9ojwzO-NyQIVwl4eCh2KGA3C#v=onepage&q&f=true

I wish they had corrected the same on the Su-27. It's still too easy to stall (and enter a nearly irrecoverable flatspin of death) in the '27, especially at higher altitudes.
-
There is no point resisting! For sooner or later, you will give in. :D
-
Looking great Fragger! Keep up the good work!
-
lol! Time to start removing them one-by-one :D
-
I hope you're wrong Ramsey! That'd be a major blow to the team if that was the case.
-
That was a good read! I'm now even more looking forward to 2.0! I just wish I could hibernate so I wouldnt have to wait any longer :D
-
Something i have noticed, is that when flying the Su-27 or the Su-25T, the HUD shows the correct heading in Nav mode, but when switching to any of the other modes (A2G, BVR...) sometimes the heading reading can change to a completely different one. Haven't found a pattern for when it occurs. Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

Su27 enroute page missing after first mp sortie
Vectury replied to 0xDEADBEEF's topic in Multiplayer Bugs
Yeah I've encountered the same thing. After the 1st death the Navigation Enroute mode disappears and thus also its waypoints. Since most MP missions for CAP tend to have a waypoint towards bullseye, its quite hard to use bulls as a reference point for the rest of the wing/squad without using the map. And indeed, empty weapon pylons will show as black in the rearming interface. -
That's good customer support Cobra! I hope you guys can fix this quick though! Even if its just for your workload's sake :D

Great stuff Razbam! I'm sure i can speak for all of the people here that we can't wait to fly this beauty!

When you've purchased the Mig-21 you'll get a confirmation e-mail of your purchase and one with the licence key. Afterwards you: go to http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/ login Download the Mig-21 'Beta' go to Profile In the Licence check box paste the licence key that was e-mailed to you (you can also find the key in the 'Orders' section) bind the key to your current login (if it's not already bound automatically) After that, go and enjoy the awesomeness of the Mighty Mig :joystick:

What the...? I'll tell you what, take an aircraft, and pull some negative G's. I'm sure it will solve the issue. :megalol:

Tu-22M anyone? :D

Now here is an award-winning idea! :D +1

Thank you for the video Fragger. But forgive my audacity, would it be possible to post a recent video? I'd love to see the Gazelle with all the implementations since then.

I am really looking forward to both choppers! A vid would be nice indeed. It just might make my mouth water :D

Good stuff Oscar! But how are things coming along with the C-101CC? The C-101 needs weapons :D

[REPORTED]Stutter/Frame Drops when moving Camera
Vectury replied to Verdi's topic in Game Performance Bugs
Same here. Before Hotfix #3 i had DX11 crashes. That is solved now (ty ED), but it's been replaced with massive stutters. I'm sure the next hotfix will fix this, but I'm hoping nothing new pops up. -
It was very clear indeed! You start hearing it from 3.5G+ It's a nice feature!

How it Works: Mi-8 Fire Protection System
Vectury replied to AlphaOneSix's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
Wow, I'm impressed Alpha! :surprise: Good job! EDIT: Finally I understand the complex workings of the Fire Ext system in the Mi-8 -
I think so too. I would expect it in Q1 of 2015, because it's Belsimtek :D A F-5 is going to be a great addition to DCS. Finally a direct rival for the Mig-21!

I could'nt agree more Westr! It is an amazing module where LN has really showed us their capabilitites. The plane is quite demanding, but that makes it the more satisfying! To those who don't know it, here are a few examples: -Speed too high or negative G's for a few seconds? Engine flameout. Air restart of engine will be needed. -Pulling too many G's (4G+) with ordenance? Weapons/fuel tanks auto-eject from pylons. -Touchdown a bit too rough? (Critical) damage to the undercarriage. -Radar on for too long (20 minutes or so)? No more alcohol (yes, alcohol) to keep the radar running. -Forgot to bring the gear lever back to neutral during a long flight? Loss of air pressure that is used among others by the wheelbrakes :D -Air combat? Don't forget to flick the right buttons, select the missile type (IR/SAR) and select the exact pylons where these missiles are on, or no joy. But if you get things right, it really gives you an immense sense of accomplishment! I can definitely recommend it! EDIT: If the Mig-21 is a benchmark for things to come from LN, the F-14 is going to be epic! :pilotfly:

Haha! Sounds familiar, welcome to the club.
