Thanks kindly again for your input Gierasimov and Razor also. Well, I drew a blank in the uTorrent settings and preferences, there's nothing there that relates to unchecking any boxes to stop miz files being torrrented and I forensically checked and rechecked, like there's plenty of options to ADD but not untick or uncheck or remove and I also rechecked the ingame DCS missions and still couldn't find that file that looks like it's been added. And to your point G I can't seem to stop UTorrent from taking over when I d'load items like this. I'm not sure how to stop it, soon as I click on "save t" or "save" up pops uTorrent and asks to open the file and if I chose no then nothing happens so I'm kinda stuck. If you or anyone else could remote assist then that would be great and then you would see my dilemma first hand. I mean sure I could uninstall uTorrent but then how do I d'load my flicks? Anyway, I'm still scratching my head with this thing.

Again, thanks Razor, too kind. I'll try that..

Thanks a bunch Razor, yes mate I def chose Save As and chose the correct location for where the file is to go but I thought it was uTorrent causing this problem. I'll keep pluggin away at it. It seems to open (UTorrent) exactly like it does when I begin to d'load a movie but as that screen shot shows it encounters an error you know.( you see the little uTorrent logo next to the file name? is that the problem? ) I'm boggled

Thanks kindly for reply Gierasimov , appreciate that and yes I def tried looking for the file in DCS2 , painstakingly searching but I can't see it. I'll try again tho *sigh* , Thanks man

Thanks Razor18, appreciate that man. That then leads me to my recent new Thread about d'loading stuff here in the way of mods and missions. I'm kind stuck in that dept. And hey, I sent in a heap of stuff relating to that issue to ED and first they said they couldn't find the fault but then a few hours later I received an email saying they were able to reproduce the crash to Win and when the devs have time they will look into it. So, anyway I'll check out what you mentioned. Cheers G

Hey good Pilots, I'm having trouble installing mods or single missions via the forum. I'm really interested in flying BD and DB's new Training mission 1 as I'm really keen to see it and also just about completed every other Campaign, so something fresh would be nice. I'm having an issue when I go to d'load something, up pops uTorrent and that inhibits me from installing it to the right place and I don't know what to do about it. I'm no puty geek but I just manage to get by but this has got me stumped so any help would gratefully appreciated. I've left a few screen shots of what I encounter as I try to d'load this file. Regards G

Hey good wingmen, I'm a late bloomer, only just venturing out into the beautiful Nevada and wondering if there is a list of Radio Tower frequencies I can pop into my kneeboard for the different Airfields in this area and also TACAN. Cheers G

Push missions with CA freakin me out Hey thanks kindly Hamilton, appreciate that man. I know I said I would leave this alone but I just couldn't help myself. I found something interesting with these Georgian Hammer missions with CA saga that's been rackin my brain lately. And now I'm not so sure if it's related to the latest update but anyway I'm thinking that this fault may have been there for some time. So, I'm hoping someone can try to launch the missions in question just to see if they in fact do start ok. This is what I found... I went through each of the Push missions, trying to load and start each one. I discovered all of the Push missions on their own without CA worked and launched perfectly but the push missions with CA were a different story.. the ones with X next to them crashed to Windows, missions without an X launched perfectly. CA Push 0-0 " " 1-1-0 " " 1-2-0 " " 1-3-0 " " 2-1-0 x " " 2-2-0 " " 2-3-0 " " 3-1-0 x " " 3-2-0 x " " 4-1-0 x " " 4-2-0 x " " 4-3-0 x " " 5-1-0 x " " 5-2-0 " " 5-3-0 x " " 6-1-0 x " " 6-2-0 x " " 7-1-0 x " " 7-2-0 x " " 8-1-0 x " " 8-2-0 x " " 9-1-0 x " " 10-1-0 x " " 10-2-0 x " " 11-1-0 " " 11-2-0 x " " 12-1-0 x " " 12-2-0 x " " 13-1-0 x " " 13-2-0 " " 14-1-0 x " " 14-2-0 x As you can see most crashed to Windows but some launched ok which is kinda weird. I also rechecked the ones that launched and found they were consistent in starting. Not sure why this happens but I sent it all off to ED with dcs.log and my system diag so we'll see what they say I guess but I'm sure perplexed as to why some launch and most don't. -

Re: previous vers and GH with CA I think I'll leave it alone and I'm now pretty sure it's the actual Campaign itself and not the Update that's causing the issue. I opened a single mission 5-1 I think and it worked ok but then tried another 13-1 or 13 can't remember now but that caused DCS to crash so I'm thinking the missions them selves have errors. It's pretty weird as all the other missions like River Raider, In The Weeds, Hideout etc work fine as was GH. Anyhow, thanks again, case kinda closed I guess. -

Yea, I tried a cmd cleanup and repair but to no avail. All missions crash beyond 3-1-0 in GH with CA. Oh well, I sent off a help mesg and the crash log to ED, maybe they'll find out what the story is. Like I said in my previous post, it's a shame because those old GH missions were really good to cut your teeth into and really get a feel for your AC and they weren't easy either. I loved em and I was looking forward to doing them all over again with CA, and there's like 30 odd so it's a really awesome Campaign. Oh well, there's other stuff to keep me occupied I spose. -

Hey amigo, how did you update to the previous vers? Cause I'm over this one big time.. nothing but dramas since I updated... poor quality scenery, missions crashing to Windows, missions failing to start, screens flashes when starting missions, screen going blank for a few secs, missions needing two clicks to start etc etc . Totally over it man, I had not one issue before this new update. Yea it may look fancy schmancy but it's woeful! I would be very grateful if you could explain how to revert back to the good ole previous version. Thanks kindly, cheers G -
Hey good wingmen. I'm experiencing a constant crash to Windows when I try to start Georgian Hammer with Combined Arms mission 3-1-0 in Campaign mode. I also just tried launching this as a single mission and also missions beyond this one and still the same result and message... Windows encountered a problem and needs to close blah blah. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and I'm sure it's got something to do with the fancy new update because there's been other problems I've noticed since then. It's a shame cause they are really good missions. If anyone else is having trouble with this Campaign and has any tips of how I can get around this, I would be grateful. I completed Georgian Hammer without CA and there were no issues but again that was before the new update. I'm posting this here because I didn't receive a reply in the Bugs forum so I'm hoping for better luck this time round. Any advice or help would be much appreciated. Cheers G

Re:TAD Cuser Hmm, interesting and thanks kindly for your input. Using my Warthog Stick I use HOTAS TMS Short Right for an instant markpoint over the area I'm flying, I don't believe there is a quicker way of dong it than that but creating markpoints was not my issue. Thanks again. Cheers G  And wow thanks Kippy that's awesome man, I just saw that reply then, big ups to you and to me she's one hot lady! P.S I've read and re reading that manual brother. It's that HOOK feature I'm really wanting to learn and use next. Thanks again, cheers G :)

Hey good wingmen. I'm totally enjoying and engrossed in my HOG and discovering new things in regards to its instruments and weapon systems. I want to use as many of it's systems and features as I can. I particularly love using my CDU for plotting coordinates and using my HUD TDC, TGP and even my MAV for searching and scoping out targets. Although I've yet to use the Curser in my TAD and wondering how many of you out there use the curser in your TAD? I would be interested to know how I can utilise this feature. I've tried to find info on this in my flight manual but to no avail. Cheers G :book::pilotfly:

Hey good wingmen. If you've grown to love the Hawg as much as I have then you really should check this out, you may have already but for those who haven't it's some interesting commentary and some great footage of the A-10C in action and it finishes with a stunning Tanker refuel above the cloud deck, truly fantastic. Check it out, cheers. G  https://youtu.be/qieWLw-iq6M

Thanks kindly fellas, I found that I wasn't clicking ahead far enough on that folder above until it took me to a list with MODS in it, then I select MODS and from there Campaigns. I was choosing Campaign too early which took me to the Georgian Hammer missions but now I found what I want thanks to both your help. And at least that's undeflated me as I just flew over 2 hrs in PF Op juggernaut #12, no labels from go to woe, over 40 tgts, all wingmen bingo fuel and I had just enough for a rtb, 2 tgts remaining and only my guns left but boomed into the earth strafing too low, oh well thems the breaks, 02:00 am est, tomorrows another day

Thanks a bunch KKT, u da man! I did eventually find them but I'm kinda stuck here cause my BitTorrent seems to take a liking to these files and I'm not sure what to do about it. I use BT for downloading films. When I try to run these individual missions the Bit Torrent option box pops up and well obviously I can't run them using that so I'm kinda stuck. Any suggestions? Oh and when I try to open them with DCS World set up from that box you see, well it asks me to install DSC World.. so I'm a tad confused and just needing a bit of guidance as to why and how to get rid of this BT thingy and also when I try to install MODS the same thing happens, I get Bit Torrent prompts, anyway sorry if I'm in the wrong dept here. Cheers, G

Hey good wingmen, I'm trying find in my files any individual missions from the Campaigns I've completed besides Georgian Hammer, Like Piercing Fury, Stone Shield and Enemy Within. It seems they're gone AWOL, I mean I've looked everywhere.. under my bed, up in that old cupboard no one goes near, drawers, shelves blah blah etc and all I managed to find was Georgian Hammer missions, a heap of single socks and a bunch of old keys. Please any help would be much appreciated or maybe they're not meant to be flown separately? I'm sure hoping not. :helpsmilie:

In the Options Menu under Misc. settings it's the box saying User Snap-View Saving, I think that's the one you mean. It's always ticked and I'll try it anyway. Thanks again  Update: Worked like a charm, I forgot about that RAlt + Numpad 0 sets the view

Fair enough
