Floodlights with Deferred Shading off Thanks again BN, I'm glad this prob is recognised. I won't bother flying without def shading on as you can see why. It's cool, I'm sure it will be sorted out soon.

Totally man, it's been like that for ages now and I just sent ED support crew a mesg about it so hopefully they'll check it out when time permits

I've been using F7 key for ground units a lot lately then entering the Lat/Long co-ords into my CDU and once I slew and create SPI I then scope around with my TGP till I find my target, hey it's pretty successful too once you get the hang of it. I also use landmarks like bridges or railways lines etc when in F7 view to help locate. Quite a few times I've been sent on wild goose chases from JTAC UTM and L/L co-ords that are miles away and have no target. I'm also going to give that Red Triangle Hook method a go lasvideo posted, sounds good, thanks. :thumbup: :pilotfly:

(EL) my fav I only fly in the 23rd TFW England AFB (EL) skin, it looks so good and I'm not sure if it's actually real or not but I love it and whether in 2.1 or 1.5, I always choose that and I have my own call sign name on the exterior and the awesome Flying Tigers decal as well, so I'm really happy with it.

Hogs best thing since sliced bread I started with a crappy ole Saitek stick kb n mouse and now after a year or so and a total upgrade I still can't enough of my Hog. Hey Amm if you don't mind SP, try some awesome story driven campaigns.. Stone Shield, Enemy Within, Piercing Fury, Georgian Hammer, GH with CA , Red Flag in 2.1. Man they're all so good, mission by mission and they're a challenge too! Anyway just my 2 cents worth. Cheers :)

Hey good Pilots, I've had my TM Warthog Throttle and Stick now for about 9 months I guess with no major dramas and still enjoying it very much but I only just noticed and I also was wondering about this when I first got my set up. The 5 little white dots or supposedly lights at the top of the throttle that run vertically down next to and below the friction wheel came on for a second when I unplugged the USB from the Throttle but only for a second until all the other lights lit up. I'm not %100 sure but I'm thinking those little white dots supposed to light up in stages as your increasing the friction strength of the throttle. I thought this was the case when I first unboxed it but then when they didn't light up I figured they were only for show but just tonight I noticed for the first time as I said they all lit up for a brief second. I'm going to send off an email to TM and also ask the dudes in my local gaming shop where I bought it from to see if they can try another unit and see what happens. And I would be very grateful if anyone has this issue or do they have working lights or not or whatever. Sorry if this is the wrong dept for my query. Cheers G

I'm all in! I'm excited! After nearly a year in the HOG and completing quite a few campaigns and many flight hours I was thinking about trying something different and now found it! Looking forward to it BD although the learning curve looks a bit steep but hey so did my A-10C at first. I was wondering, you think my TM HOTAS Warthog Throttle and Stick will transition ok to the Harrier? I'm hoping so. Cheers G

Hey good Pilots, hope all is well. I apologize if these issues in 2.1 NTTR have already been reported. The first is that on the main page when you go to select either Campaign, Quick Start or whatever. Well if you click on “Mission” nothing happens, it just hangs and you have to ctrl alt delete and close DCS down to get outta there and it’s been like that for quite a while now. The other is and more importantly I think is when your in a night mission the cockpit flood lights hardly make any difference to what you can actually see in the cockpit. Unlike 1.5 when you turn on the cockpit flood lights the whole interior is lit up beautifully. I’m hoping they can sort that out cause it’s s really difficult to make anything out even when using the night vision gogs. Well that's my beef and I hope a DEV is reading this and puts it on the to do list. Cheers G :thumbup:

I'm kinda happy with what I've got I also play ARMA III in s/p and do use the hot spot detector sometimes but I could prob get away with not using it at all. I think the IR targeting system in 2.1 and 1.5 is pretty good, realistic or not it works nicely and at the risk of performance or code rewriting issues, why bother? I'm really happy with what's available atm. Just saying :) And I wonder how that system if were implemented, would react in conditions of snow or extreme cold? Peace, out :thumbup::pilotfly:

Hey good Pilots! Remember back in the beginning of the year or perhaps late last year, we had that HOTAS count, where everyone submitted their HOTAS model numbers to this database here in the forum. Anyone know what became of that, final talley or anything? Cheers G :)

Make sure you completely ahniliate all the ground targets and anything else red, leave nothing behind. I completed it with no probs.

Hey good Pilots, Do you think ED or someone will create story driven campaigns like "Stone Shield", "The Enemy Within", "Piercing Fury", "Georgian Hammer"etc that were in 1.5 for 2.0 or whatever it morphs into eventually? Man I loved those Campaigns. Obviously we're all looking forward to BDs and DBs training campaign but I'm just wondering, is anything else in the pipeline? :)

Problem solved Thanks fellas, very kind of you both. Only last night I did manage to solve this by just turning off the V-Sync in DCS options, now even with pretty much max settings in Alpha 2.0 I'm getting anything between 60 and 150+ FPS, it's astounding. Cheers :thumbup:

Hey good Pilots, Well, absolutely loving my new build and monitor but I'm wondering about my FPS counter here in 1.5 and 2.0 Open Alpha as I've been watching it and it doesn't go above 100? Now I checked and rechecked the Asus Rog Tweak GPU software settings and even when I set it to OverClock mode or set the framerate limit up to +200, my frame rate counter in DCS in both 1.5 and 2.0 never goes beyond 100. I'm not understanding this. Any ideas? :book:
