Hey good wingmen, just wondering if my centre view can be tweaked so it's perfectly centred as atm mine is a little off. And also is anyone experiencing their HUD a little out of kilter? Some info on the right hand side of my HUD is obscured and sometimes the coordinate names I give targets are not being shown properly as it's out by a mm or so. I don't think the HUD can be fixed and I can live with it but my centre view overall I'm sure can be realigned. Any ideas? :music_whistling:

BD's will be the new benchmark.. Hey BD! I just read BeachAV8R's article and review in MUDSPIKE of your Iron Flag – 4th of July Sortie and man oh man it looks soooo polished. Love the new look maps and briefings and how awesome is the kneeboard with waypoint routes and radio frequencies, I've always wanted that! And those night screen shots over NTTR.. beautiful! Along with many others, I cannot wait for this one. I reckon after this Campaign is completed there will be a before and after, this will herald in the new gen of campaigns. As usual, awesome effort BD, u da man!

Hey good wingmen, I was thinking of putting together some practice missions for myself when want a break from my Campaigns, just using different weapons on different target types, nothing fancy. So I went along to the mission editor and found it a bit daunting and kinda screwed up my first attempt so just wondering if any one has any tips or has seen any tutorials for creating some, any advice much appreciated. Oh and I did see a thread in here not long back about this but I can't find it, so sorry to re ask.

I love my autopilot, especially whilst banking and it's great for makin a cuppa. Just saying :):thumbup::pilotfly: Sub note: I also noticed in one campaign mission I was flying at night in a horrendous storm with high winds that my Auto Pilot wouldn't stay in an engaged state. It was only until the weather eased that I could engage the Auto Pilot and I'm wondering if that's the case in real life?

Your welcome, fantastic effort Ranger but actually hats off to you both and BD for your first campaign that's remarkable. TEW was my favourite and was only edged out by a hair man :-) and I can't imagine the work that's involved in a project like that. I've shown some of my friends those Campaign who don't Sim and they just watch with their mouths open not knowing what to ask next hehe. Speaking of asking something and at the risk of this beng a dumb question, is it possible to dig up seperate missions from Campaigns I purchase and fly them individually like I could with GH?

Well after 4 Campaigns under my belt and now about half way through Piercing Fury I must say this one is absolutely awesome! Man oh man I thought nothing could top Enemy Within (hey no offence BD ) PF is not only engaging, interesting and rewarding, it makes you think about what to do before you do it. And I love the fact that in every mission so far I've been made to use my CDU to punch in coordinates, hey there's nothing more rewarding than taking that target out that you've hunted down. I've only popped up labels once or twice as there's plenty of tools to help you get the job done and also your wingmen are always ready to help you pound your enemy into oblivion. I'm totally engrossed in this one and the story keeps continuing from mission to mission and doesn't miss a beat. The Briefings are really well laid out with a plethora of info and post mission summary and the radio chatter and voice overs are very cool and sometimes pretty funny too. It's got a different feel about it than the other Campaigns had, I dunno, like bohemian or something, whatever it is, it's just great. I just wish it was longer but for $13AU I can't complain. Oh yea and so far no errors. If you haven't flown it yet and thinking about it, go for it, it's a beauty. Well, that's my take on Piercing Fury and I'm hoping more to come are kinda like this one. Hey thanks kindly OJ appreciate that and no I was def at the correct end as its marked 08, oh and hey it gets better. This time I waited for my wingmen to turn out into that area at the end of the runway that's well I guess made for doing just that (not sure what that area is called) anyway I'm sitting there watching this guy cruise up and I'm thinking hmm his wing tip is overlapping the middle of the runway and err so is mine.. ahh she'll be right , he'll turn away. Nope *SLICE KABOOMN!* haha man I've spent like over an hour with this guy trying to kill me. I saved that one , was funny, he ejected so I thought I will to. How does one post saved tracks here?

Wanting a break from campaign missions for a spell, I tried one called Smerch Hunt and it looks good. Ramp Start done, clearance from Beslan ATC to Taxi then after reaching the end of the Runway I turn and receive the all clear for take off, hurtling down the runway just after I turned off my nose wheel steering my Wingmen is trundling directly towards me! I was actually shocked and by that time *BOOM* and a pretty impressive one at that. Not sure what's goin on there, a glitch perhaps or shonky small airfields? I'll give it another shot but this time I'll check where that bugger is before I get rollin.

Hey there, yep what John and Zarma said is what you got to do brother. Don't try and align any NAV systems, EGI, CDU, CMS, DSMS nothin, just get up there as fast as you can, power those engines and go baby! I remember weaving along the runway praying I didn't get taken out and yep I got it good a few times but eventually I realized just to do the quickest and barest Ramp Start one can manage and start rolling as fast as you can. After a few trys you'll soon be near touching your wingmans tail in front of you as your taxing out. Don't worry, give it a few goes and you'll eventually get it. Remember just bare essentials to get you in the air, there's not much more to the mission after that as I recall you get to land at an alternate not long after. Hope this helps, cheers G

Kneeboard builder and more.. I'm speechless, thanks very muchly, that is astounding and some serious homework for me. Ok, # 3 Piercing Fury on hold. I'm very interested in getting my Mission Brief in the Kneeboard, something I've always wanted, wind schmind I'll just stick my finger out the window! It's that Brief I'm so wanting in my Cockpit, I hate pausing the action just to read it. I had a hunch there would be a way to do it, so that'll be awesome. Too kind Leo, thank you again. Cheers, G
