Stand Alone Updater... Is this something else that is required to be downloaded to do the upgrade? Or is it a fresh complete download?

Hi Rudel...You're are right. Mine is the stable 1.58 version. I must have missed something. I thought this would roll version 1.5 (stable)and 2 (open beta)directly into a single version..2.5. I've been searching forums but I guess I'm missing some info here. Many thanks. Dave

I flew a king air 90 from 2009 till 2015. It first had the KLN90....not user friendly but got the job done. We then upgraded to the Garmin 400 (same nav as the 430 just no built in comm) and I loved that gps. Then in 2013 we upgraded to a Garmin 1000....thought I’d died and gone airplane heaven. The Garmin’s are so user friendly than even an older guy like me...I’m well into my 60s ... adapted to it quickly. I really did like that little 400 and now after going through this forum think I’ll buy it while on sale. Would be nice to have it in the Huey. I flew the Huey in the real world as a younger guy and enjoyed my time in it and having the 430 in the dcs one would be great.

I've been using a Saitek X65 for years. I've been totally happy with it. Has anyone made the change from the X65 to the Thrustmaster Warthog? What may interest me is the F18 varient when it is available for purchase. many thanks for any responses.

Slould one become available in the future for this or the mig 21 I would buy either or both.

Just purchased from the Heatblur/Leatherkneck site. Tried to download several times, no success. Now it tells me I am out of downloads and has cut me off. I have sent an email to these people and am awaiting a response. Anyone else with a similar experience? Dave

No. From what i read in the forum it was acceptable to keep both on the same computer. In this case I have a 1tb ssd with lots of room so I planned to keep both there. Is it a requirement to remove everything before 1.5? Many thanks. Dave

I have downloaded all 7 downloads for 1.5 into one folder. Then I start the install and after a couple of minutes of what appears a normal installation process it tells me to install disk 1. I do not know what to do. Any guidance would be gratefully accepted. Many thanks. Dave

Greetings, Silver Dragon, from Winnipeg, Canada, I visit this forum from time to time and enjoy for the most part what I read here. I enjoy this sim though I have nowhere near enough time at the moment to do otherwise than dabble in it...hopefully that'll change in a year or two with retirement. Hi, Recently upgraded my computer to..... i7-4700k, gtx780 etc and now all cockpits are just a few metal frame pieces....really no cockpit. I'm asked repeatable to enter in keys which doesn't fix anything. Not sure what to do. Should I remove everything and reinstall? Ive posted numerous times in support ticket but no answer. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Nothing is fly able now. Thanks. Dave
