While I do not get seasick on my boat, Ive heard horror stories about the Oculus etc. Your thoughts? Is it an issue?

I had no desire to learn more software right now BUT seems I will force myself to learn the X-55 RHINO Software if someone can be kind enough to walk me thru it. I have always just programmed it thru the sim. I have the profile from CHRISXTR3M3 but need to figure out how to implement it. Is there a guide that could "GUIDE" me?

I see the button to activate ACM on the MFD but when watching Wags video, he states that it is a castle switch. I see no callout for ACM in the options to assign this to a stick button. How do I assign this?

I downloaded the file but have never used the RHINO software. I always used the SIM options to assign controls. How do I make your file work?

I realize the TDC slew is WIP. I have a Saitek X-55 and wonder what a good work around would be to slew the TDC with HOTAS. Or if there isn't one, what other options there is? Anyone use this stick or have other options?

Trying to find the TACAN freq for the Stennis. When I select it in the map, there is no information like on a land based airfield. What am I missing?

Seeing how the button is there, wonder if they will implement this into the Hornet.

I was reading other posts about these approaches and wanted to make sure I was on the right track. 1) Is TACAN a precision approach? It appears as if, although TACAN is more precise than ADF for example, the minimums are greater than standard ILS. 2) If the Hornet doesn't have a standard ILS type system, how do you perform a precision approach to a non-TACAN airfield?

I thought I saw a cockpit diagram that labeled each component / MFD etc . I thought it was a good idea to have it to learn what each component or cluster of instruments is called.

I was watching the tutorial on youtube but I didn't see it mention the throttles. Also, on the other aircraft it was HOME button I thought. Anyway, all good now.

LOL Thanks. I pushed HOME but nothing happened. Does this enable both throttles?

I read thru some posts hoping someone else had this issue. Trying to do the cold start. Engage the right motor but cannot move the throttle quadrant. Either side. Looked thru the options but not sure what to do. Any idea?

Agreed, When I was an inspector for Boeing, I was able to get my stamp put on the last 707 to come off the line. Kind of nostalgic. Built like a tank. Started inspecting on the 747-400 and that too is built great.

Can you imagine learning the avionics of the F-18 then regressing back to the Tomcat? Like going from the Dreamliner to the original 707
