Firing up a virtual BOWL and passing it over to all who are so stressed out right now about a piece of software they can play with instead of mowing their GRASS. (Wait... did I just make a PUN?)

I BUY planes because I don't know how to make them. I also know nothing about what it takes to offer one to the public. Therefore I wait patiently while they do the work. Picking apart ED now for anything is useless. Especially when one doesn't work there. (My 0.02)

While in the US Navy, I was stationed in an EA-6B Sqd. VAQ-131 Lancers. The new Smithsonian channel CARRIERS AT WAR shows my old sqd flying the new FA-18 Growler. I wonder if someone will make a version of the Growler. That would be cool.

If this keeps up, I'm gonna have to jump on Facebook.

Clicking the DCS_updater.exe in the Openbeta folder will work correct?

FA-18 Module download? Well... slept for 6 hours and see no Hornet. I assume we will be downloading the plane off the MODULES section of the BETA version? Is this correct. I SEE NOTHING YET!

Saturday will be great I think as I have to wait to get my hands on the new plane. I'm on DSL, and that added to the terrible torrent download speed of 1.4 MB/s means it will take me a full day to download the plane. Too bad there isn't a 21st century connection to download it. ( Yes this is a frustrated, sarcastic rant ) LOL

Sometimes, however, I CONTROL THE CONNEXTION. Seems to be BROKE all the time.

Glad to see ( not in a bad way ) that Im not the only one DSL challenged. I can't run more than one item at a time on WiFi in my house. Wife and I argue on who gets the bandwidth.

Thanks This DSL I'm on out here has been a thorn in my side for MANY years. Supposed to get fiber in a month. Cant wait.

OK, So to TEST the Persian Gulf map, I download the update and install the map. When the release version of 2.5 is final, I can delete the BETA? Or will it automatically delete upon RELEASE VERSION install.

I have 2 DCS versions on my desktop. One is a just updated DCS 2.5.0. The other is DCS BETA 2.5.0 ( now being updated to 2.5.2 ). Do I need BOTH of these on my computer? Why is there two of them? Thanks.

Figured it out. Just did a repair on the 1.5.8. Now updating to 2.5.XX
