I must be the only one who thinks the F-5E is a more appropriate BLUFOR adversary for the MiG-21Bis than the F-4E.

Humm... idk, it really depends on the variant. To me, anti-ship/cruise missiles, stand-off cluster bombs and mavericks on a supersonic platform are quite interesting.

The <51> serve cycles missions afaik, sometimes it runs the 1965 mission, sometimes the Sabres v Fagots mission.

Extremely grateful for the update, personally I'm not too bothered whether the news is good or bad. It's just fantastic to get updates no matter the form they take as silence can be very demoralizing, I'd wager many users here feel the same way.

I'm just holding out for the possibility of an F-5E for the Bis to duel, it being the perfect rival to the MiG yet still interesting in it's own right.

The likelihood of any modern red fighter being developed is incredibly slim, given the current Russian attitude towards declassification. Our only hope might be for one of the many MiG-29M variants that toured airshows in the mid to late '90s looking for export customers but never really entered Russian service due to there being no money left. Though obviously many of the systems went on to be used in more modern Russian aircraft. I think it far more likely that a moderately faithful '90s Fulcrum could be made than any of the post 2000 cutting edge Sukhois that so many users seem to badly want. However all this dreaming is irreverent to be honest, bring on the Viggen :joystick:
