  1. What other aircraft in DCS World is likely to get GBU-39s and APKWS like Laser Guided Rockets? I give the F-15E a 50% chance of getting SDBs if that. AFAIK the A-29 is set to carry both. Not to mention Laser JDAMs. And I am pretty sure it has a MWS / RWR or at least the provisions for one and same for other fancy features like HMD. It is an aircraft that is still being developed. For the role that it is designed to fill. It will be the most modern combat aircraft in DCS World.

    AH-1W

ED is already working on an AH-1, not sure which model as I have heard everything from S to W but ED is working on one already. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1690147&postcount=469
  3. I think I have said this before but the A-29 will likely be the most modern combat aircraft we have in DCS when it is released. This alone makes it worth it imo.
  4. I mean, that shouldnt make much of a difference for our current weapons. Once we get JDAMs though, then it might.
  5. How could they have been feature complete if features that should have been there to begin with are being added at an additional cost? Am I somehow confused?
  6. If you get a review sample to those guys I will definitely consider purchasing this. I am in the market for a new HOTAS and this looks impressive so far. But I cant make a decision based on looks alone.

    F-15E?

I'm just gonna fly with a real person like I do whenever I RIO for my friend in the F-14.
  8. Pretty much where I stand, my most anticipated module just became one I no longer have any intention of purchasing. The continuous anti-consumer behavior doesnt help either. I was very hyped for this module and it was going to be a day 1 pre-order for me but in the last few days my drive to play DCS has fallen to zero...
  9. No. A Prowler is not possible in DCS. They would have to revamp the entire radar system in game and I doubt that would be an easy task.
  10. I am still hoping the A-6 gets developed into a full module. I'd be happy with an EA-6B too but I think that might be a bit classified. Also iirc that would be a 4 seater.
  11. Pretty sure it is planned, they chose to do the NA variant because they are still waiting for ED to get their ground radar implemented so RAZBAM can use it in their modules. It will probably not be a freebie like the MiG-19S though.
  12. Lets hope that going forward they adopt a similar policy to the MiG-19P and release feature complete, or as close to feature complete as reasonable.
  13. That's not just DCS Developers, that's most video game developers now adays it seems...

    F-15E?

I'm gonna buy both but I think the MiG-23 is desperately needed in DCS. The JF-17 will fill part of the aircraft gap for Redfor & the MiG-23 will round off redfor for now till more modern Russian aircraft like the MiG-25, SU-27 & MiG-29 are allowed.

    F-15E?

The MiG-19 people are going to work on the MiG-23MLA next. The AV-8B people are going to work on the F-15E next. All other modules they have stated interest in are just planned. The only ones they have the licenses to that we know of are the MiG-23MLA & F-15E. But there must be a lot of crossover since they only have 1 (2?) systems coder(s) & 1 Flight Model programmer afaik.

    F-15E?

    Can you link a timestamp?
  17. That's what I meant, they are not able to because they are not allowed to.
  18. AFAIK, nobody is able to do a MiG-29. The MiG-23 is the most advanced fighter the Russian MoD seems willing to allow at this point afaik. I am sure there are devs that want to do Flankers & Fulcrums, it just isnt permitted right now.
  19. I am pretty torn on this. I mean you could be like Heatblur who have implemented their own version of several features or you could be like RAZBAM who are waiting for ED to implement features for use on their aircraft. There are pros & cons to both approaches. While Heatblur might have more control over their implementation, they also have to make sure it doesnt break with each update. Meanwhile RAZBAM has not been able to develop aircraft like the AV-8B Plus & F-15E because they do not have ground radar, but once ED implements the API for ground radar RAZBAM wont have to worry about ED breaking their own code for the most part. There is just less to go wrong though they may not be able to have as much control over it as Heatblur can with their own implementation.
  20. Great update, looking forward to getting the best launch experience of any DCS module thus far. Glad to see Multicrew listed as a feature to be present on launch. Can't wait for the servers to be filled with nothing but tomcats lol.
  21. Awesome!
  22. Bump. This needs to be fixed.
  23. We basically need something for the AV-8B NA like they currently have for the MiG-19P where the post is kept up to date as to the status of development. This post.
  24. Yea I wish the F-4E was coming out sooner, though I wouldn't mind waiting if I could also get a modernized Phantom like the F-4EJ Kai, F-4E Peace Icarus 2000, or F-4 Terminator 2020. We will probably only get US Phantoms though. I think the RAZBAM pattern for releases will be MiG-19P/S, F-15E, MiG-23MLA, A-29B, with the rest coming after the South Atlantic Map sometime. For now though that list is what I am going off of.
  25. Show me the evidence that they got licensed by ED then. I have seen none. Also modules are not assigned to developers, developers decide on a module & ask for the license. They are probably going to finish the MiG-19P/S then move on to the F-15E & MiG-23MLA before they get to the Super Tucano. They only have 1 or 2 coders & one of them is supposed to be busy full time with the AV-8B NA afaik.
