High five bro. I like the idea, but better not have any connection issue, otherwise you're trapped forever, that's the only downside of having a single life, but I'll support this though, my other 2 cents. I assume people would get more cautious, implicated and focused on their aircraft with harder restrictions. I'm also a pro-no-marker person aswell, as I believe navigation is one of the first main perks to master, I always believed Blue Flag isn't for rookies. On top of that, GCI may provide alpha checks to homeplate or either snaps. Regarding rotary wings, mixing IFR & VFR is manageable to reach any TA in my own opinion.

Charcot package (21/22/23 - 3xM-2000C) rather being blue side if possible. -

Multiple GCI may be useless depending on the scenario. In my opinion GCI should be able to manage multiple packages at the same time without any difficulty, as it is in real life I assume, mastering brevity codes surely helps. From my point of view, leaders of packages (or lonewolves) should use auto-information for taxi, departures and arrivals and then push to the GCI frequency once 30nm away from homeplate to check in with the GCI. -

Regarding the 2nd point, I'd suggest players to put their package name in front of their username, just like a "clan tag", but I believe it might be problematic for TAW members as you guys are already using a tag in front of your name. Considering this would allow the active GCI to easily manage flight packages. Of course, this applies in the case there's a dedicated GCI. As you can guess, I'm okay with the 4th point as long as both GCI from each side are present and book the whole round. I've been playing GCI for couple full rounds on Blue Flag Round 8 already so I wouldn't mind in the future getting back to duty. That said, I know some of the guys out there from the RvE squadron who are really into GCI aswell. -
TAW Caucasus Flag - Round 1 - November 26th 2016

Hey Dutch Baron, thanks ! Questions as follow : Is AAR task part of the scenario aswell ? If so, do the Mirages got a compatible tanker ? Either the Ukranian IL-78 or the NATO S3B, even though it should work aswell with the KC-135 considering the boom "hit box". Does flight package callsigns usage has to be expected in order to clarify coms ? Does brevity-only and traffic auto-information applies on the coms ? Does the mission involves a playable GCI ? -

Wow, I'm really satisfied about the setup you guys provide. Definitely the level of hardcoreness and realism I'm into, especially with the lives restriction and the Simple Radio usage. Gotta spread the word around. Is the M-2000C Blue exclusive ? Count me in: Nickname: [Charcot 22] Sacha Aircraft: M-2000C Side: Blue -
Thanks Zeus !

Obviously there is a bug on the vertical update method which is the first to be shown, but the second one remains valid.

I wouldn't say no to a shiny UH-60 Black Hawk.

You guys could have quoted me. It's not a matter of ego, it's just my own preference, I'm into realism, I do not enjoy fictive things. You might like arcade things, you might like FC3, you might like random barrel rolls, I don't, I rather professional modules for instance. Now show some respect as I don't judge you. We all have our preferences, I haven't judged anyone so far. I won't fly Round 9, that's my choice, that's my problem as you said, as simple as that, I ain't satisfied about how things are going on, but who cares ? I'll do other stuff. Enjoy the game, enjoy Blue Flag. I guess my previous post was too rude ? Alright. -
Looks like I was the first to get this feature right then.

Operation "Blue Flag" - 24/7 PvP Campaign - ROUND 8
Voodooflies replied to gregzagk's topic in Multiplayer
What the hell... :noexpression: These posts sums up pretty much everything, I've probably skipped other posts like those. Tell me that's a joke right ?... What the heck is currently happening ?! If things are defined like this, I'll probably pass that round 9, I mean it, I do find no interest at all in such scenerio, neither my squadron. I don't know what came up in admins mind with that initiative, I really don't get it. Moving the M2KC in the REDFOR was maybe the biggest move which makes me really doubt of BS realism fidelity. This is just so wrong, how about removing GCI, setting up guns only just like any other arcade/training servers ? At some point we would probably end up being "wings only", when you you'd have to splash your opponent using your wings (however fuel tanks restricted, those are deadly). Round 8 was a well design round, scratch the trolls out, it was a good round and it wasn't unbalanced regarding assets, it was more likely a server population issue which has to be expected on a public server unfortunately because of the slots restriction, but the assets were good to me. I had a really good experience by my side. Reading that Round 9 changes log made me laught at first as I tought you guys were just joking... now I'm just really disapointed and starting the question things out. What I would suggest is actally getting the Round 8 up again, with slights changes and improvements, fixing the bugs, adding some AAR as it was requested many times, keeping things as Warsaw Pact vs NATO only. For now, things are really questionnable. Finally if you guys want a feedback, how about creating a poll ? You'd have a clear idea of what the community desire the most. -

Was on Blue Flag today with some of my viewers, and I noticed Mirages on the REDFOR side... Please tell me that's not what we gonna get for the round 9 ?!... :helpsmilie: -

Totally agree. However it does affect your VAS a lot making higher the risk of OOM, but this is a great addon. ;) -

Same here. Keep it as it is. My only request so far would be to replace those rusty F4 by something more up-to-date. How about replacing those by some early F-16s at least ? -

Just my own preference, I rather see real pros doing formation flight than casual players who barely manage to hold a right echelon resulting as a glorious mess. It would be nice if the Virtual Blue Angels would offer us a show to celebrate the end of the round. Of course there are other very talented teams out here who are entirely devoted to formation flying and who are most likely very close to the real aerobatic teams in some cases. In the end, I guess I'm too much into the Olympics celebration at this time. :megalol: -

Same here, it just renders so bad, but that's more a core DCS issue than a BF one. In night time, lightning effects are just a joke, very dull, clouds are pitch black, everything else is brighter than it should be, and the stars are just giants. Well, everything is wrong. Best fix I found is not flying at all during night time otherwise that grinds my gear.
