  1. Well, I'll share my own feedback, I'm not intending to offend anyone. In my opinion the event was more likely a fiasco. I'm really disapointed as I was awaiting this event for a long time. Here are my critics, hopefully the next event will be better than this one. Poor organization. I don't know how tasks had been setup and assigned between mission makers, server host, and other staff members. No communication whatsoever from the staff reguarding TS IP or any kind of important informations. Briefing wasn't structured enough either in the .pdf or in the mission itself. Lack of important and obvious informations. I do advise organizers to take a look at BMS community. A lot of turnover in the REDFOR side which result as a poor force balance (I cannot blame admins for this, but some adjustements may have been possible from the reserve to even the teams). There was no point fighting as things appeared pretty clear when the mission started. BLUFOR had air superiority, nothing more could have be done by REDFOR. More than an hour late when the event actually started (it appeared some people had issue reading zulu time...) Brevity codes usage, and communication was more likely "amateurish". The mission design wasn't spot on, forces were too close from each other, radio presets were missing in the M-2000C, annoying audio file playback. I may be missing other things.
  2. What is the server pass ? DCS Simple Radio Server: 164.132.233.62
  3. I don't see any GCI slot in the roster, is this normal ? In my opinion GCI should be able to sign up aswell, just like pilots.
  4. Have you used my mod for the lights fix ? https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=170652&highlight=navigation+lights+fix
  5. High five bro. I like the idea, but better not have any connection issue, otherwise you're trapped forever, that's the only downside of having a single life, but I'll support this though, my other 2 cents. I assume people would get more cautious, implicated and focused on their aircraft with harder restrictions. I'm also a pro-no-marker person aswell, as I believe navigation is one of the first main perks to master, I always believed Blue Flag isn't for rookies. On top of that, GCI may provide alpha checks to homeplate or either snaps. Regarding rotary wings, mixing IFR & VFR is manageable to reach any TA in my own opinion.
  6. Charcot package (21/22/23 - 3xM-2000C) rather being blue side if possible.
  7. Multiple GCI may be useless depending on the scenario. In my opinion GCI should be able to manage multiple packages at the same time without any difficulty, as it is in real life I assume, mastering brevity codes surely helps. From my point of view, leaders of packages (or lonewolves) should use auto-information for taxi, departures and arrivals and then push to the GCI frequency once 30nm away from homeplate to check in with the GCI.
  8. Regarding the 2nd point, I'd suggest players to put their package name in front of their username, just like a "clan tag", but I believe it might be problematic for TAW members as you guys are already using a tag in front of your name. Considering this would allow the active GCI to easily manage flight packages. Of course, this applies in the case there's a dedicated GCI. As you can guess, I'm okay with the 4th point as long as both GCI from each side are present and book the whole round. I've been playing GCI for couple full rounds on Blue Flag Round 8 already so I wouldn't mind in the future getting back to duty. That said, I know some of the guys out there from the RvE squadron who are really into GCI aswell.
  9. Hey Dutch Baron, thanks ! Questions as follow : Is AAR task part of the scenario aswell ? If so, do the Mirages got a compatible tanker ? Either the Ukranian IL-78 or the NATO S3B, even though it should work aswell with the KC-135 considering the boom "hit box". Does flight package callsigns usage has to be expected in order to clarify coms ? Does brevity-only and traffic auto-information applies on the coms ? Does the mission involves a playable GCI ?
  10. Wow, I'm really satisfied about the setup you guys provide. Definitely the level of hardcoreness and realism I'm into, especially with the lives restriction and the Simple Radio usage. Gotta spread the word around. Is the M-2000C Blue exclusive ? Count me in: Nickname: [Charcot 22] Sacha Aircraft: M-2000C Side: Blue
  11. Thanks Zeus !
  12. Obviously there is a bug on the vertical update method which is the first to be shown, but the second one remains valid.
  13. Very interesting.
  14. I wouldn't say no to a shiny UH-60 Black Hawk.
  15. However go arounds are made buster only in the french airforce as far as I know. :book:
  16. Downloaded and installed. Thanks mate.
  17. Fantastic work, as usual Rlaxoxo.
  18. Mirage is still WIP, I don't get your point Frostie. Well... Yes, that's how airplanes works on daily basis.
  19. Up you go sir.
  20. You guys could have quoted me. It's not a matter of ego, it's just my own preference, I'm into realism, I do not enjoy fictive things. You might like arcade things, you might like FC3, you might like random barrel rolls, I don't, I rather professional modules for instance. Now show some respect as I don't judge you. We all have our preferences, I haven't judged anyone so far. I won't fly Round 9, that's my choice, that's my problem as you said, as simple as that, I ain't satisfied about how things are going on, but who cares ? I'll do other stuff. Enjoy the game, enjoy Blue Flag. I guess my previous post was too rude ? Alright.
  21. Looks like I was the first to get this feature right then.
