  1. @Sparviero1978 @Spider64 UPDATE: I have checked the EZ refuel in mission 6 and found a problem which I have fixed now. Will be in next DCS update. Thanks to both for the heads up.
  2. Hi Glad you got it sorted. There is no trigger to get a response from JTAC it is only the DCS modelling of the radio. I think the valley must cast quit a distinct radio shadow so you need to be high enough to get above that. No problem though, as DCS has so many updates I am dependent on fellow pilots to point out when there is a new bug so I can fix them. Been working on the latest Campaign for 7 months now it will be called, ‘Operation Green Line’. Thanks.
  3. Hi I will check it out. Previously with this mission you just needed to ensure you are not in a radio shadow as it is down in a valley. Regarding the uncomplete 9 line i have had a similar issue on the Serpent's Head which I have fixed. Will let you know how i get on. Also make sure your not running any mods. EDIT Just did a quick extract test and set Ford at 20k within 2nm and managed to get successful responses in the supercarrier version and supercarrier EZ version. I will fly it through next but check you are high enough. Try 20 k.
  4. Hi Glad your enjoying the campaign. No there is no fuel consumption that is the price you have to pay for the EZ refuel facility. Its the only way I could set a solution where you do not actual have to connect to the basket, your aircraft is set up for about 50% full but it will not reduce. If I didn't set this up you would actually run out of fuel, not perfect I know but it does allow people who cannot yet catch the basket get experience in the longer missions. In the normal version your fuel reduces as expected. Hope this helps
  5. Hey @SHazmak Checked out the Comms issue in Mission 9 of ROPL on return to the ABE. Found the problem and fixed it. It will be out in the next DCS update. It only effects the normal version the EZ refuel and increased difficulty options are ok. Thanks for the heads up
  6. @Gripen 4-1 Glad to hear it. It is a strange intermittent bug that one. Nothing I can do as it is scripted correctly. All DLC paid for campaigns are strictly no mods. Mods can have some really strange effects on scripted campaigns which cannot be foreseen. It is enough for us Campaign creators to keep up with the DCS updates without considering the hundreds of mods which are themselves not maintained in line with the latest DCS updates. Cheers
  7. Hi @Gripen 4-1 Are you running any mods and are you stable or open beta? Yes, if you don't turn right as instructed your wing will not take it off. That's why tower communication is for you turn right. This is not a bug. As campaign scripting is based on triggers, as it says in the brief, you must follow the instructions given. Obviously Dodge was ok the first time but the second time wasn't. I have seen this happen once before. It doesn't normally happen. This is not a campaign bug but a DCS bug and is worth reporting to ED on the forum as it is nothing to do with the campaign scripting otherwise it would happen all the time. I will check it out this end. Hope this helps.
  8. Hi @SHazmak Will look at the Mission 9 comms to the ABE on return. Could you tell me which option you were using is it normal or the EZ refuel or increased difficulty . Are you open beta or stable and finally are you running any mods. Regarding which CAT you go to and problems with the crew its not a thing controlled by the mission editor. In fact although I give a direction which one to use it does not matter from a DCS point of view you can use any and they should work. What I think has happened especially with cats 4 or 3 is that you have not gone sufficiently down the carrier before turning to face the cats. It has happened to me may times. If you do not approach the cat form a sufficient distance away the crew does not know your there and will not respond. So your to short for CAT three but when you taxi up to cat 2 you have plenty of distance and it works. It's not a bug but just how DCS is.   9. Think your right @CH4Pz in that situation don't wait for the 120 to go active, there are no friendlies ahead so Pitbull is a good option and at the very least will make them go defensive so easier to deal with. @Solid_84 give it a try.

  13. What you are seeing is an unzipped mission file. You have unzipped too far. I just did a test download. I note you are using the Nevada and Black sea 6 mission option. Below is what you will see if you unzip the downloaded file once. I have highlighted the mission 6 files.
  14. Hi What is the problem? The file will be for mission 6 and will have exactly the same name. It has to be, mission files have to have the same name to work with the existing campaign file.
  15. Just tried the JTAC on this mission and worked ok. Maybe try again?
  16. The JTAC in this last mission has now been fixed and I have updated the user files accordingly.
  17. Thanks for the kind words. My suite of campaigns that follow, Serpent's Head 2, Rise of the Persian Lion and Rise of the Persian Lion 2 are a progression of your character in a continuous plot line. Each gets more demanding and so slowly brings you through all aspects of the Hornet. The next one is in the works now. Just so you know there is currently a new bug in the last mission. I have fixed it today and it will be updated in a day or so. So be sure to download it when I update it. Yeah I like to keep the briefs concise as not everybody want to read lots of text prior to a mission. But do read them as they cover things you must know and also explain the plot as things unfold.

  19. There does seem to be a problem with the JTAC, has worked since it was made years ago. Has probably been broken by the many DCS updates . I will need to figure out how to get it working again. Did you have any problems with the JTAC in mission 4 ( version including Nevada) or mission 3 ( Reduced version not including Nevada) ?
  20. Just checked coords out on this mission. The coords given are correct and in the precise format ie DD.MM.SS decimal SS. Which is correct for Precise coords. The use of these is noted in the in game brief plus the switchology required in the cockpit to enable them. So all good. My mistake was putting the word latitude in front of the Northing and visa versa. This has now been corrected together with the voice over and will be updated. Thanks @Hillman for picking it up. Hopefully in next update.
  21. Thanks will look into the coord text issue. The idea of the additional set of coords on the hop is just to make life a little more difficult for the player having to enter the coords whilst flying and navigating. TOO would normally be used then, but you’re correct either can be used. Hope you enjoy the Rise of the Persian Lion and the next chapter in Rise of the Persian Lion 2. Just working on the latest, Operation Green Line, this based in Cyprus, Turkey, Syria, Israel and Jordan. The same characters running through. In fact you will see more characters are added as the Campaigns progress. Cheers
  22. Hi I checked out the space bar for removal of coords issue. I guess you are on one of the simple versions as I found a small error in the script. I have corrected this and it will be out next update. Thanks for picking it up. The normal versions with full refuelling are ok. Regarding the coords, as you can imagine this campaign has been out for years and so am confident the coords are correct. It is probably a matter of what format you are using. If I remember there is direction in the brief as to the format. I also produced a video on my u tube channel for the coord entry on this very mission. The link is below. Hope this helps.
