MH-60K/M please, glass cockpit, in flight refueling, terrain following radar, handsome ... Blackhawk has to be at least glass cockpit to bring something really new to DCS, HH-60G is a little bit too old.

The mirage is not abandoned, you should stop your nonsense. A module is not abandoned just because it is not patched monthly, you should check how often the Gazelle or the Viggen are updated ... Things in DCS take time to make / fix, there are people who respect that and the others ...

Well ED has the hand on the first loading time, which they could maybe optimize a bit, I remember it was much faster few patches ago (till the loading bar got removed). Anyway, if you have a SSD, it really helps.

When you launch DCS, it loads a lot of things in RAM from you disk. When you leave DCS, these things are not unloaded, but tagged as removable so if windows need this RAM space for something else, it will overwrite what was used by DCS. So if you close DCS and relaunch it, all these things still in RAM won't have to be loaded from disk again, reducing loading time.

With an E3 set up at 32k ft the only things that would not be displayed by a proper GCI set up are aircraft in their hangar, and that's certainly not used to lead an intercept ... With that gone, could be nice to have lotATC set up.

This video does not show the waypoint programmation ... If you want the synthetic runway in the mirage, you have to set up a landing waypoint in mission editor, last time i checked it was not possible to do it in game.

F-16C would only be a duplicate of the F-18 in terms of avionic and capabilities and would not add any variety in what DCS has to offer, while an F-16A would be a nice plane filling the gap between the F-5 and the F-18, and a direct opponent to the mirage (like the F-5 and Mig-21). I'd prefer a A, would make my M2000 even more interesting to fly.

One question, and some will perfectly guess the answer: What would have happened if you started this topic in the BUG SECTION ?

Progress on the harrier looks good ! Do you plan to release it in an early state like the mirage ? Also, is there any kind of time frame or estimation of release date you can communicate us yet ?

I'm sorry DEADBEEF but if you are refering to the 2 vikhr you shot at a mirage yesterday evening (around 20h25 server time), they both missed, I just checked the track. Agree, unfortunately FC3 planes have a simplified damage model, making them more fragile than other modules. So far I've only seen FC3 pilots complaining about mirage's DM, because the mirage is the first fully modeled planed in DCS that can compete with F-15/Su-27, but it's FC3 that is not realistic, not the mirage. The arrival of the Viggen, F-14 and F-18 should settle that for good. In reality an F-15 can land with a wing missing, now try to do so in DCS ... Out of curiosity I made some quick stats about missile hits. This comes from our last 3 run on The Kaukasus Offensive.

I'm forced to restart DCS every one or two hours because of this, it is game breaking ! Really hope ED will push a hotfix today for that.

Easy : 1) FC3 damage models are very simple compared to fully simulated planes. You should try some Mig-21 vs F-5 servers, you'd be surprise how many missiles these jets can take and still make it home, with a good bunch of failures. 2) F-15 and Su-27 are 2 big planes with way more fragile wings than the mirage, making them easier to damage. Combine both and you get what's considered a kill way more often than it should be. It's not only the mirage that behave like that but every fully simulated plane / helo ;)

FC3 models are very off, not the mirage ...

Glass cockpit, refueling capability, hellfire missiles, depending of the version a Black Hawk would be awesome and really fill a void !
