Do you know if they have mentioned geo lines? It’s really useful to draw the front lines. Or a coast line for that little extra SA.

It's not bad advice. He's just giving you the settings to get a unmagnified look to the image. It's not his fault no one seems to understand it. Maybe he's wording it badly? Now I wouldn't say it's particularly usefull though. Since it will be way too narrow for most people unless you are running mulitple screens. -

That's not at all what he's saying. Completey irrelevant. Correct but not what he's talking about. -

He just means that if you look at two points that are 1000 units away from you and are separated by 17,5units they will be 1° degree apart in your field of vision. If you set the FOV in the game to match this things will look "right". Just look at the screenshots and you can tell. Using your calculator input "1000*sin(1°)" and you will see where the number comes from. However. This is not really the correct way to do it if you want realism. Then you need to use a FOV calculator and take in account the size of your monitor and the distance you are away from it. For me it makes no diffrence because both ways create a very impractical image that will be way too narrow. -
While using the TGP TMS aft will do a CZ. You may have to click several times depending on the tracking mode you are in.

Click the switch next to the DCS switch on the ICP down to remove it. The one that has DRIFT C/O above and WARN RESET below.

Not saying you’re wrong. But I’ve done probably close to fifty AARs in the viper and I usually open the door just before pre contact and I have never experienced not getting full bags. Maybe the time it takes to fill the internals is enough? Although I’m pretty sure Ive started tanking with close to full internals at least a few times.

Unforunately I'm away from home for a couple of weeks and I've forgotten the specifics. It's been a while since I did it. Check out the pdf in the first post there. I seem to remember something about the "pressed" function doing it. See chapter 5.8 in the pdf.

You can edit the lua so that clicking the trim button will only give one pulse. It means you have to keep clicking if the trim is far off. But it does help alot with fine tuning.

Fixed: Missing HOTAS AG Gun Strafe Toggle. Where to find ?
Tenkom replied to -=Shin=-'s topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
I noticed when using this new shortcut the SMS page didn't go into "Strafe mode" like it does when you click the top left OSB button. Is this correct? -
If the HUD and TGP pointers are not in the same place that implies that the plane knows that the HUD and TGP are pointing at different locations which seems weird to me.

The only benchmark should be against the real one. Hopefully they will work on the litening to make it more like the real thing but it has nothing to do with the Sniper pod.

Let's try not to get too off-topic here. This thread is about the new pod. The focus should be on helping ED getting it as close to realistic as possible. The older pod has nothing to with this.

Seems to run contrary to the SPI is a SPI is a SPI philosophy. Why would the TGP not be pointed at the SPI? Or why would the SPI not be where the TGP is pointing?

Does anyone use ATC when landing? For me it makes everything easier except the touchdown itself. I seem to overshoot the wires more easily when using it. But I have more practice without ATC so that might get better. Especially maintaining a stable descent rate is much easier with ATC.
