  1. fair enough, all hopes for the EDGE now, i guess, maybe even SLI/Crossfire will be useful then. personally, i think a stable 30 fps is more then enough for a sim. but that's just me, not a "pro" gamer at anything lol
  2. why not go for the nvidia 780Ti if you can afford 4k tv :smilewink:
  3. RTFM, it's all there, take your time, it's a sim after all. P.S. often it is also a faster and better explained way to get many answers.
  4. too bad it's a modified Suncom with CH electronics and not a pure CH :) btw, those suncom throttles and sticks cost on ebay a fortune.
  5. which is working great. but if you want you can install hall sensors there :smilewink:
  6. split that in two parts like a-10 or f-15 and you're ready to go :smartass:
  7. don't plug it to VGA!!! go through the wheels usb.
  8. 1 extra thumb wouldn't hurt )))
  9. i wonder what you guys would've said, if saitek made a replica of F-35 throttle, can't complain, can you? lol
  10. think of it as it's a steering wheel, turn right - look right, turn left - look left.
  14. most people think of gaming and simming as playing with toys... so who cares if it's plastic or metal, as long as it's working as it should ;)
  15. this one will be more then enough for rudder pedals and cheaper as well: http://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=66&products_id=204 i'd say even 10-bit controller is enough for rudder pedals, but it's " DISCONTINUED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE." on that website.
  16. CH Products throttle is one option as well.

  19. it's large enough to run DCS from it, makes difference. no need for pagefile on this drive.
  20. fair enough, in that case the rest of the analog inputs can be used for trim wheels (where available) on the control panel and other things that can use analog axis. "So I am looking forward for your help and suggestions in order to be able to identify the right controls which will be found on most modules, so that I will always have the autopilot for example, in the same place. Same will apply to all mappings (eg. start engine, APU and so on)" i think things like gear, flaps, arrester hook, refueling boom, auto pilot, A-A A-G (and sub modes for those) selector, NAV modes selector. not sure if you need anything related to engine, it's not used that often. some sort of weapon panel. those are few that come to my mind. i myself thinking of making something like this, but first need to finish joystick mod. i've got 2 boards, 8 axis 32 buttons and 8 axis 64 buttons, so in the near future (hopefully))) i'll be in the same position you are right now :joystick:
  21. will be cheaper without those, if you planning to buy the board for buttons mostly. something like this: http://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=86&products_id=205 other option is to find some1 who can make you a board (mJoy16, arduino or something) for 64 or 128 buttons, might be even cheaper.
  22. i5... can't be THAT dated then... it's not like pentium 4 or something lol nvidia GPU would make a difference i guess, but better wait for EDGE first. ssd is good for DCS aswell. TM Warthog sure does look good, but new mods for joysticks are coming out now. they are good, metal mechanics and magnetoresistive sensors, even Warthog can't beat that ))) that was about joysticks, it is harder to find a good throttle, i guess Warthog's is the best atm. hard decisions time you've got there )))
  23. FC3 don't have that many key combos to remember or need to punch in coordinates, for fighter planes TrackIR is a must, for a10a and su25 it's not :smilewink: from what i've read, with trackIR it's a lot easier, install drivers, plug and play (from own experience).
  24. TrackIR is very well supported by DCS and most of flight sims, it can also be used in other games like some FPS and racing simulators.
