  6. will it run DCS World 2.0 and New Maps on highest settings with no lower than 30 fps in HD?
  7. yeah, should be ))) the only proper way to find out how it really works, is to find some1 with this WS MB and ask him/her to test it with 2 cards.
  8. а до этого как качали? ставить не обязательно.
  9. so, in theory intel and asus both can be wrong or right lol how the hell we customers are suppose to know how to choose the right components :crash:
  10. in my post above we can see that Z97-WS does it too, information is from the asus web site. strange that z97 game MB's don't have this feature, but workstation MB's do.
  11. MAXIMUS VII HERO Expansion Slots 2 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x16 or dual x8, red) Z97-WS Expansion Slots 4 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (dual x16 or x16/x8/x8 or quad x8 ) confusing really.
  12. i don't think that would help. just overclock cpu you've got now and you will see if there any difference.
  13. упаковка открыта, не новый. он новый не больше 160€ стоил, очень много лет назад. на ибее легко найти дешевле.
  14. this is the good thing about liquid cooling, even with some overclocking there is no need to run fans at full speed. i run two 140mm fans at around 800rpm for cooling, my hdd makes more noise than pump+fans all together lol
  15. overkill, no? even one D5 pump has enough power to run any "normal" water loop. it will be the same amount of work to change the pump in case of fail, no matter, single or dual. today everything has overheating protection, so if the one and only pump fails, pc will just shutdown itself, no harm done.
  16. that is 1 big update...
  17. should boot, BUT, you need intel 3xxx series cpu to have proper PCIe 3.0 and different MB. i got 2600k too and "PCIe 3.0 ready" MB, 780Ti is running in PCIe 2.0 mode. from what i've heard, the difference in perfomance between PCIe 2 and 3 in gaming is marginal. don't worry you have a good deal there.
  18. i5 4690k is 90$ cheaper (on newegg) and can be overclocked to the same speed as 4790k, if your pc is just for gaming.
  19. wait for EDGE. atm intel and nvidia run DCS better than AMD/Radeon.
  20. air is easier, but water is better. custom made water cooling is quieter then pc case full of fans. one good 120x2x60mm (120mm size rads are recommended by most guys, better fan selection of this size available on the market and easier to fit in) radiator should be enough to cool down both cpu (even with some overclocking, not extreme) and gpu. pumps have flow regulators nowadays, manual or automatic (pwm) (high or low flow doesn't really effect cooling much, fans do), just like fans do, so they can run very quiet. there are also external types of radiators with no fans at all, but you will still need at least 2 fans in the case, motherboard need some air flow too. my example here, was on the limited budget, so no water for gpu, maybe later i hope, that is why that rad is so huge lol my pc case don't have any windows, so looks doesn't matter much. don't forget about dust filters, something like this: http://www.demcifilter.com/p0105/HAF-922-Dust-Filter-Kit.aspx
  21. already started.
  22. теперь знаем...
