Hi all, so DCS has been working flawlessly for me since I installed it a few months ago. I have no mods installed or anything like that. I just asked how to reposition the Radio Menu on another thread, I just posted, since I am using 3 screens, and then found the answer: I edited the RadioCommandMenuPanel/ CommandMenu.lua with notepad and changed the MenuWidth=280 to 2200. Now DCS does not start anymore. It starts loading and then it quits when it reaches 100%. Was I not suppose to open the LUA files with notepad? Help! Can't live without DCS! Thank you. E.

Hi guys, quick question regarding some youtube videos I have seen where 4 monitors were used: 3 for the outside view and the hud symbology and one for the instrumentation. Is this done setup done in Helios or the outside view + Hud symbology is achieved in a different way? Thank you, E.

Hello there. thank you for your help. I tried repositioning the Kneeboard but it stays locked to the right most side of the screen (right screen). Yes I am using the 3 screens as a single wide display. When I reposition the kneeboard I save the profile and lunch DCS. That is all that is needed, correct?

I tried using the offset function but maybe I am not understanding its behaviour. Can you please let me know how to move the kneeboard in the cockpit? thank you. e.

Figured it out guys. apparently using the Nvidia 3D setting, forcing them instead of using the application controlled, has a big performance hit. turned off most of the Nvidia settings and it now works beautifully! Thanks to all!

no, I am running 1 screen. I have surround spanning enabled in the Nvidia control panel. Could it be the RAM? only 8GB?

Thanks Guys. I did turn off depth of field, but made just a tiny bit of difference when switched to a spot or lock camera outside.

HI all, I got myself two other 27" screens for Xmas to finally have a triple screen setup. Seriously awesome, but what a performance hit. I am looking for suggestions on how to make things run smoother beside lowering the quality a bit. My setup is: Skylake at 4.5Ghz 8 gb ram Gtx970 overclocked. Do I really need to go to a 980ti to run DCS smoothly? If I am in the cockpit it's mainly ok, but when I switch to external views it runs at 10-15 fps max!

Seriously guys, I was navigating in the Nevada map using celestial navigation. I didnt realize until now that there's a pefectly usable celestial sphere in DCS. F86 night flying. Richard Bach would have been proud. You guys are awesome. Merry Christmas from New Zealand. Emanuele.

Was flying at 25000ft over NTTR last night and the light came on as well. Turned on the Pitot heat, but otherwise did not notice any change in engine behavior or flying characteristics. Probably something to look at?
