I have moved the DCS OpenBeta directory using the MKlink command to a different drive, yes. I am familiar with the registry.

Hello Andre! Got my seat! Awesome! :) Was wondering....in the M2K I cannot feel the afterburner kicking in, and in the A10C I cannot feel the speedbrakes. I have not read the whole thread so I would appreciate if you can please let me know if these are known issues? :) Thanks!

Functional and Non functional Switches in A10C
AstroEma replied to AstroEma's topic in Home Cockpits
Thank you all guys. Appreciate your responses and thoughts. -
Flim's plan are awesome. I love my ACES seat and recently bought the full cockpit. Looking forward to see it cut soon, hopefully! Cheers Flim.
-
Hello RK! Your pit is exactly what I would like to achieve with mine! :) We are a group of 5 people in Christchurch who are building A10C Cockpits! Would you be interested in sharing the .stl files for the panels, by any chance? That would be very generous of you! Thanks, E.

Functional and Non functional Switches in A10C
AstroEma replied to AstroEma's topic in Home Cockpits
Thanks Deadman, I appreciate you looking for the list! Yep, I am trying to cut cost down as much as possible. I like the idea of having a plug and play solution, but of course it comes at a cost. I am not skilled at all with Arduinos so I need to study a bit first. I am looking into DCS Bios, and doesn't seem too bad, but then again, I am just touching the surface! -
Great! Thank you. Please keep us posted!

Hello all, hopefully soon I will start my A10C Cockpit. It will be based on Flim (VRPits) plans, and John Shepherd PS Cockpit (over at Viperpits) In order to make it as much as cost/time efficient as possible, I am wondering if anyone has already identified the functional and non functional switches in the A10C module? If anyone did perhaps already do this exercise (produced a list) it would be great if he/she could share their findings. I don't want to implement a switch in real life if it is not implemented in DCS. Cheers! E.

Hello guys, thanks so much for the VA server! Last night it was my first time joining in and checking things out. Would it be possible to have the aircrafts already started on the ground, instead of having to manually start them every time? It would save some time :) Just a thought. E.

That MIP piece would be used with a monitor and Helios, right? Or only with real instruments?

Hi all, Is there any way to create a JSGME mod that allows for modified lua files to not being patched - every time new patches come out? Example: I have to manually modify the comm menu and radio messages position to 3840 pixel because I use 3 monitors as a single monitor via Nvidia Surround. Every time a new DCS patch comes out, the lua file get reverted to default. Any way of bringing them in JSGME and forget about them? :smartass: Thanks! E.

you cannot zoom in or out like you would do with the TrackIR.
-
Tacno that is just phenomenal.... Are those panels etc for sale??
-
Hi guys, thanks for the replies. Baltic Dragon: that doesnt work. For some reason JTAC waits for a hole in the comms even if the radio is switched off...
-
Hello all, I am having a very hard time with TrackIR and looking down to the left or right console on the A10C. Moreover, the pitch stops at 80-90 degrees I would say, along with the zoom. Does the virtual cockpit have boundaries? Or there's something wrong with my profile? Thanks! e.
-
Hi All, While receiving JTAC (Predator) coordinates, I had to deal with changing the grid reference (38T in the map, but the coordinates received where in next grid. How do I look up the grids panels? They don't show up on the map view. Cheers, e.

Georgian Hammer. Calling in AI Air Assets
AstroEma replied to bunraku's topic in User Created Missions General
Having the same issue and been shot down twice by that Mig 29. The CAP are just doing nothing. I don't think it is scripted well. -
Hi all, I am doing the Georgian Hammer campaign and in multiple missions now it's impossible to have JTAC report in because of other radio communication. Is this a bug? We talk on JTAC on 30.0 VHF FM and allied force on 124.00 AM, so why is JTAC waiting to communicate until there's a whole in the radio talk?? And sometimes the allied flights are just talking for minutes on end reporting bullseyes etc. If I shut off the AM radio, it doesn't make any difference. JTAC still waits for a hole in comms to answer me. Cheers, e.

You need to assign the correct keystrokes to the Power Grid...
-
no, he is asking about the laser pointer use by ED to replace the cross (used as a mouse pointer) in the cockpit...

Any updates on this?

Try disabling threaded optimization in the Nvidia control panel.
