Same here about, quick start insurgents mission. Radio command to wingman1 to recon 1km. It crash immediately after radio transmission.

Forgot to mention that turbulence and external load effects the roll much more than before, but with almost 50hours as 21 happy driver I'm a rookie. I feel more sensible in banking the iron bird, sometimes thought in turn off ailerons hydro boosters.... Doesn't work :)

I found easier to land with 1.5.1 With strong sidewinds I had to touch down at high speed 330 and 20 degree yawn or more! The parachute is also challenging. You will never forget to disengage when speed drop below 100kmh and winds! Inviato dal mio G7-L01 utilizzando Tapatalk

Cool, any resource to create a mod for a ground radar? Something like the EL/M-2032 of the latest Mig21 the 2000. Did develop a "real" ultrasonic one so I guess could make one in DCS. I mean something updated+detailed of this: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=116901

Dear zcrazyx you are right. I found impossible from the instant action. Same condition with mission editor and you just need to switch on battery, first inverter, radio switch, select 14 and you request to startup to Nalchik ATC. There is only one differents, small but important. Usually the ATC are sorted by distance in the radio ATC menu, but this is not true in that cold instant action, Nalchik is second while you are parket there! Feel free to post a new little bug, but importat because people get confused on the first task first mission... :thumbup:

I had no issues in 3 ours of navigation and landing training on our lovelly 21. about russian ils please pay attention to get the differents between yellow ADI needles and white HSI in cloud penetration and landing mode. Did you set the right ATC channel on airport? You will find an handy list in the knee-board. No issue with RSBN or NDB navigation (channell/sector set as well). As long as you are close/high enough to get the reassuring morse code, you will flight safe, without watching the map on F10.

Is it a camera frustum with just projections on plane's radar or is it some game api? As a developer, with no experience in radar simulations, I'm curios :) Actually more interested in the external flying model, is there any public source?

After a weekend of training (landing with different weather conditions) I figure out that fuel level doesn't play big role. Talking of values from 500L to 1500L, is not big issue. So as long as I avoid flares also side winds are not so crazy to manage. It's maybe the high landing speed/inertial of this metal bird?

Start any SP mission, press Lshift-R to restart and the engine is gone. The afterburner sounds good ever better.

As I usually avoid to use the f10 interactive map I was happy to use the kneeboard for missions. Now I really love printed versions, pencil and rubber nav planning but haven't time for that, unfortunately! When will you restore kneeboard maps?

Put your 21 50km west of Kutasi,set thunderstorm, no wind, fog 50m visibility, night and 500L of fuel. You will find yourself close at the botton left area instruments sets for descending and then landing mode. I make 2 landing on 10 failure, one was a direct hit on a building! Honestly I would eject, more chance to survive. Are you enjoying navigation and extreme performance non combat flights on this great plane?

I'm not a dogfighter, but f4 vs 21 instant action is a good 10 mintes entertainment. 80% is a mig victory and the rest is a bingo fuel, the f4 will never stick on your tail if you keep an eye on aoa,g meter,ias and yes the phantom. Sometimes he will zoom out vertically and what? He has to comedown :) But due to the targetting system and limited rounds, fire only when you are really really close. Loving this plane too, but am I the only one having framerate drop with the fantastic 21? I mean switching from 1.2 to 1.5 it's the only module that loose performance and it's my favorite. :-(

Hi, any progress in that? Can't set EN custom cockpit. Drop in framerate too, instead the 25 and 50 works even better than the on the 1.2.

Pretty much clear, thank you very much for your professional support. Guess haven't any opinion on other questions.... Hope that they will never stop development on the 21, every day it's a hair raising fly, just like classic muscle car rental!
