  1. Thanks QuiGon to share that press release, looks really dangerous, I don't want to start any political discussion, let's try to keep it technical. Making unauthorized low pass on a friendly ship/airspace will cost a lot to any pilot civil/mil. Doing that over other country ones what? Nothing?
  2. Yes, it is strange indeed. but happen more frequently than before between east/est/asia nations. Did they ask for permission for that? At the end how they (the low pass dude) know that there are no helicopter/drone operation under progress?
  3. In the meantime, in the Baltic sea, few hours ago... That's a decent low pass!
  4. And let me add that small maps doesn't give many reason for long range bombers. Having sed that a camera pod for my 21 will be great.
  5. Yes please! C160 can be a refuel tanker as well and specops deployment will be great.
  6. Yep it's changed, also landing is kind of easy nowdays, better control at low speed, or I'm getting used to it :-D About spin, waiting to experience the F14 deadly spin, I notice that the audio feedback it's the best advice, the "BRUFFFRFRFFRRFRF" you can ear from high AOA.
  7. Hope that the route is imported from the mission editor! Anyone I'm not sure about this countermeasures :-O https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASM-135_ASAT?wprov=sfla1
  8. Stuge is right. It's been developed as fast intervention missile launching platform against aggressors and bombers. If you don't like to turn off the radar and hunt bandits from the lowest point of the valley with IR missile, restarting the engine if get distracted in a dogfight. If you don't like doing your best with rocket, bombs, land, survive, rearm refuel and back again in CAS. You can still enjoy and complete the nice single player campaign. Having said that is the most difficult plane for the simmers people, so we do understand if you prefer dropping 120C from an Eagle with the radar in TWR mode. Enjoy DCS anyway!
  9. Same here. And if you use disable the full screen and you run as a window the mouse doesn't work... Or better its misalignment doesn't allow to point and click on cockpit.
  10. +1 about light on object but not on landscape.
  11. As I pretend to be a sailor sometimes I use the basic navigational skills, mainly on the Mig21. So what I'm doing is night IFR flying with a printed version of our map Caucas and then with a clock and NDB navigation, I'm doing a nice job with interception and turing at specifc NDB crossing. (yep without F10 map or the kneboard ones). Its great and... find my way with the old style radio nav, I must say that the 21 is my Cessna 172P with the NAV/COM equipment :D Am I the only one? A bit OT but could be interesting playing on a multiplayer server without any help from maps :D
  12. BTW not many forest in Nevada to test this feature. But I'll test f15 radar tonight.
  13. What a shame. So no way to use them as a safe corridors...
  14. Did you read the latest announcement about DCS 2.5, merges of 1.5 with 2.0, adding multimap support and Garmin navigation instrument? Sorry not easy to post the link I'm in mobile... Anyway this will make DCS even greater doing night long range bombing a real thing :-) About civil flight, yep I love it, as I like the latest flight gear 2016.1 which is not ball at all!
  15. Ok. So let's build some missions to get the radar right... And then I'll ask support to some simmers during online session. Anyway, thanks!
  16. Thanks. I see that you specify Mk1.0 and moreover DCS 1.5. Does it mean that in 2.0 (Neveada and Georgia when they will merge in 2.5) we will get better coverege/shield by forest? Great! So I'll try to build a mission flying a F15 and few computer controlled KA-50 at differents speed/altitude. Nice! :D yes, you are right, I'm doing most of that, crying at the screen looking with the Mk1 EB.... But it's never enough, supported by fixed wings is better as they are attracting most of the AA. Anyway thank for your feedback. I'll try to fly higher and never hover, always strafe in a direction better if between two hills. But ... again... Let's see what will happen in the new Georgia scenery in the DCS 2.5! :pilotfly:
  17. Where are the training mission for the Eagle? I see just Su-27 ones... yes I read every single page of the Belsimtek manual :book: but I wan some training mission, don't give me excuses to get me shoot down on the 104th server :D
  18. Yesterday, during my daily dose of DCS in a successful an lucky attempt to reach and strike the Alpha (free 104th server), I was hiding the Hokum between hills, buildings and trees. :joystick: Thanks to the great A-10 support I manage to take down some Shilka, BMP etc... Than what I think was an AT-3 Sagger miss me of an inch. :music_whistling: Happen I know... so remember to increase the contrast of my brand new "high sensitivity dual optics biological sensor EYE 1.0" and evaded the next two Saggers, strafe left, strafe right, sending back my 30mm presents to the BMPs. Happy reached the target zone having the first raw in the airshow "destroy an airfield". Now I'm asking. Does it make sense to fly so low if BMP and Saggers can see and travel in the trees, traversing forests which are transparent to everything but not to the EYE 1.0? :helpsmilie: Should I find a compromise between high to see and low for AA radars? p.s. THANKS to everyone helping me on the 104th you are great simmers!
  19. Try with an Huey :-P I crashed but everything was trimmer zero! Ahahahh
  20. yes indeed :-)
  21. A 50 could be used as fast delivery service ambulance, blood, organs... Well done!!
  22. Hey. Did you unlock the throttle isn't? Stupid but it's my best after 2 beers. Inviato dal mio G7-L01 utilizzando Tapatalk
  23. Does it work the joystick throttle on windows USB game controller settings or in any other game? Anyway when you enter in the DC's control settings, for the selected module, you should double click on the cell (throttle raw, your controller column) and move you throttle, dcs will identify it after some full/zero. Works also with buttons and other axis.
