Type-C can now deliver 100 watts at 20 volts and nothing to say about data transfer rate... So maybe the additional USB-C PC-E interface, not required with new MB. Quite enough to drive any FFB. In my mind there is no compromise on the sensors and main mechanic springs etc... Then I prefer a small grip, some other prefer a full scale F-18 stick reproduction. :pilotfly: The secret is in the connector between stick and base, or throttle and base. That was a really nice one! -

Agreed. As an electronic hobbyist can't agree more. Standard USB board means teensy, arduino, a more powerful Raspberry Zero or custom boards with opensource firmware? -

Exactly  the fact is that we all need an high quality basic stick where build things around. -

There are just way too big! I like to fly with the keyboard on the left hand, joy in the center (with my elbow on the desk) and mouse on the left. With this configuration and FaceTrackNoIR I'm really relaxed and comfortable for hours. -

As my not happy at all with what the market can offer to us (just a fraction of the game industry's customer), I'm going to merge these two projects to create a compact, accurate and versatile joystick. [ame= ] [/ame] [ame= ] [/ame] -
Thanks!

So after a while I took the decision to build both of them, the one with the taranis quanum and the fully and made. For some details please have a looks to both videos. Feel free to give me any feedback and suggestions please! :pilotfly: The portable all purpose joystick. [ame= ] [/ame] The hand made springless one. [ame= ] [/ame]

Hi all, so here there a couple of weekend projects. I prefer the ugly one, guess which one it is! :smilewink: For some details please have a looks to both videos. Please do not esitate and feel free to post your comments just not too offensive, I'm a passionate pilot and young joystick builder :D The portable all purpose joystick. If you are interested I'll post some picture. Have a couple of completed projects plus another coming....

So in 20 year I could dream to fly with on a NH90. But what about a great 3 engine, 7 blades Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion? Just to enjoy to lift serious stuff like a couple of HUMVEE or an F15... well also some Pave Low missions will be nice.

Sure, the Oculus is great and a no spring/trim solution is even better in it. Using my DK2 the feeling is even better I'll share a bit in while. Flopped all over the place because the gimbal axes were just free to move?
-
Hi all, I recently deeply customized a couple of gimbal joysticks removing the springs and adding some friction on both X/Y axes, so the effect is that the stick "stays" where I leave it with no force, letting me to use both hands for additional mouse/keyboard input or to drink my coffee or simply stretching my hands.... Trim is no more required and anyway I think is a better solution, I'm more precise and in general more solid idea of required cyclic to maintain stable flight. Trimming "hide" sensations as leave only a reference with the previous trimmed position and not from the real stick neutral position, yes you can monitor the UI but it's not the same thing... Any similar experience? Impressions?

And now is working after I restart the campaign and repeat that mission for what I hope was the last time! Yeahhhh! Go Iroquois go!

Try in summertime, maybe.... Never measured. Inviato dal mio G7-L01 utilizzando Tapatalk

OK guys, is really needed to restart the campaign. It's really frustrating!!!!

Wow, it is really difficult to "fly straight" in a Huey.

All good suggestions. But most important practice, what I did was to follow the runway white center line at different speed and low level. Keep doing it again and again, if you hover at the end of the runway to comeback is even a better exercise. -

Just a camera pod to support recon missions should be enough! Inviato dal mio G7-L01 utilizzando Tapatalk

Yep Flagrum, you are right, but the temptation to dream never end. -

Additional optical sensor,IR A2A missile, RWR. Please! The 52 is a complete new module which I'll buy instantly. Is she comes with air/ ground radar? -
Am I the only one unable to go further the mission "lost contact" with 1.5.2? What should I do other then complete it as it says "mission success"? I now complete it four times but the campaign doesn't advance.
