Yes, you can do that in opentrack. I guess I misunderstood your question.

If your monitor refresh rate is 60, set open track to 60, also, try increasing the timeout to 500ms. The height/distance of the camera should not have any ill effect, as long as the opentrack preview window shows good control responses. Are you using a FFB stick? Some people get the jerky movement when using an FFB stick. I occasionally get a few random stutters but I've always attributed them to scenery load issues.

There are no default key assignments, you have to set-up the hot keys.

Movement along the z axis is primarily forward and backward. Since I don't use the POV hat on my stick I set it up to control zoom, a glance to the panels and zoom-in gets you a good view. Never used trackir so can't comment on it. I don't have any screen tearing with opentrack. How do you have it configured?

I seem to remember reading a post a few months back where Virpil acknowledged the issue with the thread lock, and were moving to one with a lot less grip.

The VPC WarBRD base may be an option for you.

Okay, successfully updated the firmware for my T-50 stick, however, when I went to update the throttle firmware, I entered firmware update mode, then start firmware update, when it was done, but before closing the firmware update mode, the throttle disappeared from the device list. The LED's are lit on the throttle but I cannot get it to appear in the device list. Any advice Cyph3r? Checking in windows devices it lists both the stick and the throttle as VPC MT-50 Flightstick. Unplugging the throttle removes it but plugging it back in windows is still seeing the throttle as a stick.

Just one quick question regarding the firmware. There is only one hexc file so is it safe to assume that it is for all VPC devices?

What Zionid experienced was the same I had. Cyph3r checked my system and all was OK. It appears that when you save the device profile it unloads from the configurator. Hence the "Not Sync" appearing.

No manual yet. I believe Cyph3r is working on one, but it may be a while before we see it. There are a few knowledgeable folks about who seem to have figured it out. I can load the device profile and test everything but I haven't been brave enough to fiddle with the buttons, toggles, etc.

Give me a few to get teamviewer loaded and I'll email the info. Edit: Cyph3r took a look for me, about 5 minutes after I posted the original message. Turns out everything was fine, I was having a brain cramp. Thanks again Cyph3r for your help!

Ahhhh, a nice surprise when the postal worker rang my door bell a little earlier! My throttle has arrived! I had been worried about it as I never did receive a shipping/tracking number. It made it here to Virginia in 7 days! A lot faster than the 4 weeks it took last Dec/Jan for the T-50 base/stick. I know what I'll be doing this evening. I guess some other folks who ordered may not have gotten a shipping/tracking e-mail, and in fact it could be in the mail.

I don't know about moving along fine, I ordered on Apr 22 and still not shipped!

It would be nice to know how to fix this before trying out the new software, just in case.
