Same here. Can't take off from the carrier anymore in campaign or missions I make with the mission editor. The plane has neither lift nor thrust and sails like a wet towel over the bow into the sea. AI has the same problem.
Just finished Mission 2. Everything went flawlessly. The Chinooks made their assault (which is great to watch).
This is great stuff: variety in action and very immersive!!!
Just to make sure I rolled back to 1.5.4. I started the mission and did nothing except starting up my plane (no take-off request). When my engines started spinning the rest of the flight started up too.
You're right of course. Just getting frustrated because for now the behaviour of the flight is completely erratic for me. I can't figure out why they start up one time and refuse to the other time.
Same here. Just got the campaign and ran into this problem with mission 1. My wingmen sit there, canopies closed, navigation lights flashing but they don't start their engines.
Voted NO.
Although it is a very interesting aircraft it would mean that DCS would go off on another branch. I would like to see future planes implemented in the game around a certain theater and/or time frame.
IMO a Bronco would be a more viable option.
A somewhat different problem: the updater stops working. So I can't update the game. 1.5.2 is still functional but doesn't update.
Tried repair but to no avail. autoupdate_log.txt
