Yes I did this... Same problem exists.. Maybe it's just DCS? Or does the game meant to run smooth with no pausing? Is there away I can show a tech diagnostics from start to finish while running DCS? Then paste it so someone can better explain to me? I think I have seen people do this kind of thing before? Just don't know what it's called or how to do it? Thanks for the replies guys!

Yes I do have shadow play and I can use it at anytime. I presume this means it's running in the background. I will turn it off and see what happens. FYI shadow play operates on my SSD drive only. Well at least that's where all the files save too. I'll report back and see if any change soon! Thanks guys.

My OS is on HDD but all my game installs are on SSD. However my mission files etc will save to HDD by default. Does this mean my tracks would too? Maybe this is where the problem is?

Anymore info regarding this issue anyone? I now have GTX980ti and still this problem exists. I notice even if i zoom into the cockpit without any view outside showing.. it still pauses? Anymore info would be amazing! Thanks!

either way.. i still dont know what im doing! haha! i have to do some more study. Im sure there there wil be a lot of trial and error. I find lots of things on the net regarding specular files and what they mean etc.. im just struggling to find a walk through using DCS files and photoshop only. So for the meantime, i just try to find a plane already edited with hopefully the correct shine for my project. and just start editing that. But thank you both for pointing me in the right direction.

Hey guys, Can anyone tell me how to reduce the shine on the mig21bis skin? I find if I add paint to it the effect is nice, but sometimes i think it would be good to just have a near matte finish if possible. I find the metal so shiny and drowns out the paint on some skins. Maybe I've been editing the bare metal skin and this is my problem? should i be editing with a different skin? Thanks!

Yes, thanks for your info. I will attempt to change my link and hopefully it will work better. I also understand people will do work for free as I do this all the time. I would never dream of asking for anything i upload to my user files, just custom work. I'm sure if i was to read EULA it would prevent me altering existing files and getting paid for it. That totally makes sense. I guess sometimes when you get wrapped up in the community you tend to forget about these things and just want to make people happy. Thanks again for your advice.

Hi All, I was wanting some advice on whether or not to charge a small fee to do custom skin work for people? Ive attached an simple example. This pilot skin is for the M2000C. I can do other custom work like entire planes with your logo and name etc. You can see this in the last picture or for better pictures just follow the link to my skins and check the screen shots. All installs are as simple as dragging and dropping a folder. So prices would vary depending on the amount of work that had to be done. But i wouldn't want paying anything too crazy as I really enjoy doing this, it just takes time. So if i was to change the pilot skin below to your custom logos/names etc.. I would ask for $30 Australian Dollars via Paypal. You would have to provide logos, unless they already exist on google etc. I really have no Idea if its rude to ask for money or not?.. is this over pricing? under pricing? or even legal? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!!
