Hello everyone, I'm sure this has been asked before but did not manage to find a clear answer to my question, especially with the very old answers i found. My question is : Will there ever be an F-16 modeled up in DCS World (Just to make sure everyone understands me, i'm talking about a flyable one, like the M2000-C Module coming up) ? Whether it is done by ED or thrid party ? I've always wondered why it was not there yet being the most commun Multi-role fighter throughout the world and owned by so many air forces, been in so many theaters of war too, this plane remains somehow an iconic one :) Thank you for sharing your infos on that ;)

Hi guys, just came across this plane in a park, couldn't tell what is was exactly but to me it seemed to be some sort of a Sabre version, can you tell ? Did it even exist ? Edit : Sorry if picture is upside down, doing this from my phone, don't quite get how to do it properly :p

Let me have a wild guess, is it Falcon thing ? Could be a game that actually has its potential but somehow it is still blocking me hardly to have a go on it, the graphics are something totally pushing me off even though the high fidelity behind it is apparently amazing hearing from people like you and else. I'm ready to wait for an F-16 in DCS no problem hehe ;)

I've not taken the time to actually read through every single page but from the few I've read, I did find some interesting stuff, my first would be that I clearly wouldn't mind seeing civilian modules come up and actually get mixed in scenarios with military ones, imagine how fun things could actually be and imagine the types of scenarios we could have (VIP escort in a hostile zone, interception of illegal flight, Air Force one attacked hahaha, who knows, your imagination is the only limit), interesting from my opinion. Than something I clearly wouldn't want is to see the development of the military branch reduced or slowed because of the civilian one, I would clearly hope to see a totally separate team of devs for both branches.

The thing clearly pushing me even more of wanting that F-16 is how badly I want to learn to master that thing from A to Z, you know most people around here are excited to see a new plane, fly it, kill some stuff with it and well basically do that with every plane they own on a "which plane do I want to fly today" basis. I'm not really interested in that, I'm really looking to push the simulation to a next level, the level where you actually take the time to understand every bit of your plane, systems, radar etc and become able to react in accordance to every situation you come up against, going from failures to combat or navigation. And the thing keeping me from doing that right now is that I don't want to spend the time learning all that on a plane that I will probably not fly again (or much less) when the F-16 comes out, some would tell me that it wouldn't be lost because all knowledge is good to have after all but I just don't feel the same passion and motivation to master another plane at the moment.

Been with a girl for 4 years, loved her to death, seemed the same from her throughout, we got together that I already had my hardware and gaming addiction, she lived with it and came in my life knowing I was very pationate about gaming ! Beginning of 2015 she left me with no clear explanation of why she had left me, with time I am starting to think that my gaming addiction was a big part of her decision but won't ever be able to confirm that ! Needless to say, I was really not expecting her to suddenly leave me like that since she had never really given me headaches about my gaming habits ! I was totally broken from the break up, still miss her nowadays but I got used to the fact of being single again I guess... Financially talking, I used to spoil her brat and she would literally never pay a thing when with me, can't say she felt left out. She sometimes used to sit on my lap while I was gaming and fall asleep on me, she enjoyed watching me at those moments otherwise she would just occupy herself doing work for school or simply doing things on her own computer or watch TV. What have I learned from that story ? Gaming can in some sort ruin a relationship if not spent wisely, and love hearts like **** ! Don't fall in love ! This is my story

I wouldn't be able to tell you why no one hasn't done it yet, I don't recall any official/dev talking about it and giving any kind of info... Apart from speculating I don't know what to think, could the F-16 be a model they want to keep for later as to keep a vast majority of the community awaiting for their toy, could they be keeping it for later as to try and really build it properly of some sort ? In my wildest dreams, could they be already building it in undercover and someday bring it to us as a big surprise ? Since the release of NTTR I just can't stop making myself movies of flights I'd have over the desert in that beautiful bird ! Let God have mercy on us, bring the F-16 please :D

Hopefully we get to see the F-16 someday before it's too late (for me), one question that comes to my mind though is from who will we see it come, ED itself or third party ? Just like said on top, I also wouldn't even quite mind seeing an F-16 come up without full fidelity, it would be a great start already to a dream come true ! If I had the money, I'd even pay them to produce it hahaha, that's how much I want it :p

Like i've already said it in the Harrier thread, i am unfortunately not a fan at all of it, probably won't be a buy from me... I know people are fed up of hearing about the F-16 but it's the one and only thing i am really impatient of un this game !

There is no logic here, juste trying to put out an exemple of what you've put forward... From you're point of view, if you are an F-16 fan than you HAVE to have played Falcon thing, it simply doesn't work like that, so please don't bring out arguments to heat things up on purpose...

Honestly just by the look of that game i've never wanted to try it, DCS did the job to me no doubt ! By what you are saying i assume every fan has to own every product that virtualises its thing ? I mean that it's not because someone is a fan of Ferraries that he owns one automatically or has driven one :p The question would actually be : What are peoples priorities and what do you consider being a priority when talking about incoming planes ?

I'm sorry dude but it's not because you are enjoying what you are getting from Falcon BMS that the plane shouldn't come out on DCS ! Just for your info, i've never played that game and even being a big fan of the F-16 i will not play it so i clearly have my reasons to wanting to see the F-16 come up in DCS ! Hence, if everyone had your view point about planes, i'm sorry to say but quite a few models shouldn't ever appear because they already exist in other games... This isn't only about flying something new and unique but also adding diversity to the game and a plane that simply has his place in DCS World, i don't want to have to bring you all the arguments for it now, but trust me a very good majority of the community would love to see it come !

Let me tell the truth here, i really don't mind seeing such a plane coming to DCS, but it definitely won't be something i'd buy ! I am simply not into this plane at all, too bad i guess, let the joy go to its real fans :) If there is one plane that would really make me happy throughout, it stays the F-16.
