I'm trying to force the KC-135, Hawk, and A-4 mod to read roughmets, but I can't quite figure it out. Can anyone help? Let's say I'm working with this Hawk texture: {"hawk-aft", 0 ,"hawk_aft_vt7",false}; Should the roughmet be hawk-aft_RoughMet because of the map or hawk_aft_vt7_RoughMet because of the texture being used? Can it be in the livery folder because it's associated with a false diffuse map? And should I change anything about the specular map assigned under {"hawk-aft", 2?

On the bright side, this is him selling them off on eBay to random people, and shouldn't get ED in any more shit with the US government than it already is. I get the impression that, with stuff like the extreme crackdown on 1.16 recently, some USG entities have been in contact with ED ever since the indictment was unsealed and have set forth some very strict rules to stay in compliance with ITAR and remain eligible for future US contracts. Otherwise we probably wouldn't be seeing continued Hornet and Viper progress after his arrest.

Thanks, I'm making pretty good progress on it and I think it should be on the user files sometime this week. Could someone post a flat of HB_F14_EXT_PILOT? I'm trying to recolor the undershirts but once again I'm running into trouble with the new dds format.

Making VF-96 skins as the other Tomcat squadron in my virtual squadron's CVW. Unlike the VF-163 stuff, this might get a public release eventually. NG100 is a throwback scheme commemorating Cunningham and Driscoll.

+1, I'd really like different patches and skintones for each guy in my squadron. We already do the former in our Hornets. -
You're better off printing the F-14B NATOPS, the module's manual is very incomplete. I can't link it here, but it's easy to find online.

It needs some more work, but I'll be putting it in User Files when it's done. I made NPC variants of modexes in my squadron for parked jets, with all textures reduced to 512x512. They look good enough with no significant performance hit. Aside from that, all of my liveries pull textures from the f14/textures/diffuseroughmet folder, so almost every playable jet is sharing a few textures (3 and 4 specifically; the only thing this precludes is different bunos). Editing out the blue parts from the VF-143 CAG is your best bet, it's the most plain out of all of the helmets available. Or just patch over the velcro with the healing tool.

Thanks, see attached for the texture with a tan flightsuit and no patches. And here's a mask with the g-suit, gloves, boots, and survival vest isolated, so you can recolor the flightsuit from the base texture underneath: https://i.imgur.com/lZhxfiR.png

Thanks; by the way, if the default texture has markings, check CoreMods\aircraft\F14\Liveries\f-14b\VF-143 Pukin Dogs CAG\HB_F14_EXT_PILOT_HELMET_143OLD.dds. From what I've seen on the 3in1, it only has a few markings that are easy to get rid of and doesn't have any velcro.

I'm using an older version of photoshop so I can't install the plugin needed to view them. I've just been using the small textures from the 3in1 instead.

Just wanted to post a few screenshots of my virtual squadron. We started off in Hornets using the VFA-163 Ark Angels markings from Behind Enemy Lines. I translated those marking conventions over to mid-2000s Tomcats, and NG201 is a heritage bird like the final cruise AJ101 and 213, inspired by the real VA-163 Saints. When we get the F-14A, all of the squadron will look like that (with more hi viz flair like white undersides and control surfaces).

I have one more problem with getting this mod working: when I assign controls or tune axis's in settings (I'm definitely using the MiG-29UB layer) they don't change in-game. Есть еще одна проблема с модом: когда я меняю настройки управление, или изменяю назначенные оси (совершенно точно используя слой "Mig-29UB"), они не меняются в самой игре.

I'm wondering if anyone can help me in English. I put the MiG-29UB into my Mods/aircraft folder but it doesn't appear anywhere in-game as a flyable or NPC aircraft (I've checked using a number of operators including Russia). I can see the menu theme, but it seems the aircraft itself doesn't load. I'm on the open beta branch 1.5.3.51218 and own FC3.
