  2. You basically have to check three things: Firewall: Make su you've opend the firewall. Don't trust the "allow application", manually set the PORT TCP and UDP that you would like to use (default 10308) Port Forward: your router should allow and forward 10308 TCp and UDP to your local ip address of your computer (ofc is better to have static IP or static DHCP lease to avoid that your computer changes local IP address on device reboot) CGNAT: This something that is not something that you can deal with, since it's a techinque used by ISP to reduce the pubblic IPv4 usage. To make sure you're not under CGNAT, compare the IP address that you see on whatismyip and what youread inside WAN section of your router/modem. When we do have different version in the past, openbeta, stable and so on, there was a little chance also to be on different DCS version. nowday it should not be a problem since we do have only stable, but it's worth to check that you and your firend are running the same exact DCS version, compare untile very last digits current: 2.9.19.13478

Va beh ci sta sfruttare le miglia, anzi, pure io ne avevo accumolate diverse a dire il vero ed ero molto tentato di fare dal sito ED, ma per questa terza parte mi sono proprio sentito di spendere quei dollari in più per farglieli arrivare direttamente a loro. (ripeto, non centra assolutamente nulla, ma dopo il Razbam gate, è stata una decisione che ho fatto più che volentieri) Le miglia le userò per un altro prodotto se ti serve qualche dritta per il CH. chiedi pure (in un post a parte se no andiamo troppo OT), perchè ultimamente lo volo parecchio e man mano che escono i server che creiamo, cerchiamo di dare alla logistica sempre più peso Fly Safe!
  4. My bad, I was looking at the "base" model equipped with Intel N100, that is a 6W CPU created for mobile/embedded device. Is listed as 1906 points for single thread on that site. The 8505 is definitely better, but since the NAS has their own os, I don't know if it's still a good idea
  5. if datasheet is correct, it's an N100 CPU, don't even try to run a server on it, do yourself a favor

Già fatto appena è stato possibile farlo tramite il sito di ASC (nel caso qualcuno fosse interessato, invito caldamente a utilizzare questo metodo proprio per evitare eventuali beghe stile Razbam, anche se dietro c'è tutt'altro in verità) Ormai credo non sia un segreto, così come avete visto dai video di BalticDragon, HIP e altri content creator, è già diverso tempo che qualcuno ha avuto l'onore di poter lavorare con questa terza parte fin dai primissimi passi come modulo ufficiale, me compreso, e niente il lavoro maniacale che ci sta dietro è davvero qualcosa di fantastico. La nuova UI in gioco, la parte "FPS" del loadmaster, è stato assolutamente un privilegio vedere le varie evoluzioni e iterazioni di questo modulo, e credetemi è unico nel suo genere. Per me è assolutamente un bel modulo, in quanto aggiunge un'espereinza nuova ripsetto al classico combattimento nel mondo di DCS. Chi ha provato elicotteri da trasporti sa di cosa sto parlando A presto!
  7. Can't wait, this will be a really game changer in DCS Ecosystem IMHO. For sure we'll release a new multiplayer server that will leverage a lot on C-130J capabilities to move on the campaing across the map. Stay tuned For all the people worried about not buying module on third parties store, a really surprising fact, is that you'll receive immidiatly on purchase the code to redeem on DCS website, so as soon as it will be released, you'll have it! Times to times, when using external website, before obtain DCS code some times will elapse, not the case! I'm super happy about that!

  10. This one to me I was usual to have it set in the past, like 3 or 4 years ago (not as formula just plain nuber), but we haven't used it for at least two years. This is the current production server that I'm running (adjust port on your needs) if not net then net = {} end net.use_upnp = false webgui_port = 8088 norender_fps = 60 disable_write_track = true some days ago we ware more than 20 players on a pretty populated PvE missions in one of our instance (with some other running as well), no issue at all.
  11. Be aware using that kind of tuning, it was there since ages, and most probably nowday is not even necessary. Use formula is completely useless, in the end it's the speed in bps if I remember well. So basically 1024*1024*256 you're telling something like 270mbps You can directly type 268435456 in the file, but yeah, honestly I'm not using it anymore on all my servers
  12. Can you provide the actual status of submitted files and/or the report number? Or since they will not keep up you've skipped completely this part? it's literally the first time that is happening on DCS core files, in the past there was just a problem of .DLL signature, mostly coming from 3rd parties. I do really hope it will not be the "normal behavior" of all new release to be honest.

I've already done as normal user, but since it's an official stable release, it's expected that the developer parts was already done, or at least in progress, instead completely ignore the problem and ask to exclude game folder from AV analysis. It is part of the responsibility of a software house to verify a proper installation/upgrade process before an official release, and now we are talking that there is only the stable version, we are no longer talking about closed beta or anything else. This is the official server release. I can understand if the problem had been encountered on an occasional AV software used by 10 people around the world, but here we are talking about the default Windows AV, which, like it or not, is enabled by default on any system, including the server edition used by large companies. So it is an ED mistake if it was found during internal testing and ignored instead of being submitted to Microsoft to correct the false positive, and it is even more serious if no one noticed it.
