Ah ok. Guess I'll have to wait then. Thanks anyway my friend, good job with the Mirage sounds overall .
-
Well I just tried the code you linked , it didn't work either. I had reverted to default ogg's in this try & only used the modded sdef's (I use JSGME). I'll see what can be done about this one. I just want for the AB sound to be in line with the other ones (mil, medium & idle powers). I think AB power should sound like a slightly louder & (i think) lower pitched version of "i_M2kC_turbine_full". Perhaps I will update here if anything comes of it so if anyone reads & has the same problem can do the same, at least until it's altered in the release. Thanks for your help Rlaxoxo :).

Cool pal, I've copied it and opening up the game as I speak :)

The other ogg is identical. e_M2kC_combustion_afterburner.zip

And these are after editing. SnecmaM53 (post edit).zip

There you go. These are default without any editing. Btw just in case there is a misunderstanding, I'm talking about in cockpit but not external. SnecmaM53.zip

Hey mate, I tried to do that all the way to gain = 30, then I replaced the files with a personal AB sound I had gotten from a BMS mod and tried through gain = 10. There is no difference whatsoever in AB sound (I can hear no difference between mil power & AB power). Any suggestions?

Hmm, I thought the black box in the upper left of a gun recording meant a trigger press not actual release. Now I'm not sure anymore :P.
-
About this video, I'm wondering why the pilot released just as the release cue passes the piper, while we're told in DCS to press the trigger before the cue passes the piper? I've noticed this in gun cams of other jets too (e.g. A-10).
-
I'm a mad hatter too, but I think I'll buy your clip some time.
-
Awesome mate! Are you gonna work on making the pipper replace the FPM & linking it to the pitch ladder later? I'm not 100% sure if this is how it is be in 2000C version but it most probably is. Also I think the airspeed & altitude info don't get depressed, along with the slant range. Small details I know, it's also practical & sets the Mirage apart from other jets HUDs but it would be pretty nice to have small things like this work like the real thing :).
-
I definitely hope they're not released together or close, cause if they do it would be really hard to stop me from buying all 3 .
-
Oh man, F/A 18 + Nimitz + Hormuz map = nuclear strike on my wallet. I hope there would be some decent bundle offer. Of course I could just buy 1 or 2 of these I know that, but just imagine getting all three.. Edit: I can't see Sryan pictures, and site says "This site can’t be reached pp.vk.me took too long to respond."

That's quite true actually. But the point of this thread is what actually happens when you do take the A-10 to/close to its limits; it isn't the same as what happens in DCS's A-10. As a matter of fact, as far as I gather, the point where you get chopped stall warning is still not at the very edge of the envelope. All those publicaly available recordings have a lot of chopped tone riding, let alone the unpublished flights, which may show how often this sort of maneuver is practiced in reality. Point is, pulling the jet into chopped warning tone & even slightly pulling more ---> wing drop shouldn't happen. Other behaviour should happen like buffeting, but lets just get past the initial issue.

Ah a man with a past. Good to have someone around who's 'done that', can save us a lot of dilemmas. I've only recently started playing M-2000C even though I bought it some time after release. I'm relatively new to simulators even (I'm not that old). So yeah I'm still learining ;).

I'm pretty sure that low drag bombs can be used in CCIP as well, but yes I believe the mode in my video is CCRP as well cause it's the known CCRP pipper without the project bomb line. Edit: nice video btw, cheers :).
-
LOL good stuff. I'll need to get my hand on VR some time, just need a new PC first :P.
-
Also slightly off topic, but this is how the CCIP bomb pipper behaves as well: I have no idea if in any of these videos RS or TAS modes are being used (or if it makes any difference).

Apart from me agreeing with there being something not right about the DCS A-10C head position, I just literally laughed out loud to the quote above for some reason.
-
Exactly my point . Although I hope that wouldn't be their response, it'd be better if they just put it in the lower priority list. IMHO this should be high priority but oh well, it's rare to get any major update to an old module .

I haven't tried A-G in M-2000 yet but I thought I'd share this FWIW. Here's 2 videos that can help you to accurately model the CCIP pipper. Notice how it replaces the FPM (the FPM itself disappears) and it slaves to the pitch ladder like the FPM used to. While the HAF vid is an EG version I think, I believe its HUD & the C version HUD should be similar enough. Also note that the slant range indication is below the radar altitude and not in the middle section of the HUD as it is, I think, in DCS version; according to what I saw in pics & the DCS manual at least. All in all thanks for the improvements and new toys!. I suggest that if that's not how you intended to model it to not make my comment stop you from implementing what you have in the next update and make improvements after (assuming what I referenced applies to the C version we have), it's probably better than what we have currently.

Was this the only part you read off my post? Sent from my cell phone using Tapatalk.

I understand how busy someone like YoYo is. But not getting as much as a comment from any of the A-10C's developers for almost a month now? This a serious issue & it's quite a shame it has gone unfixed for 5 years now (?).. I've provided evidence for my claim. If i'm proven wrong then so be it, but I can't be proven wrong when the devs won't even reply to me :music_whistling:.

So has anything come of this? Please don't forget about this problem, if it's fixed it's gonna make A-10 much more realistic and better for everyone I'm sure. I don't wanna sound desperate, but it's gotten so quiet here.
