I paid in May for the new F-18. Got BACK online after many months and found a new version of DCS World (can't keep up with all the new changes honestly) Downloaded that and thought that my order would automatically be there. NOPE. Went to the website for digitalcombactsimulations and looked up my profile and order history. Nope, cannot download even though it says I paid. Can someone please clear up if I have to buy this AGAIN? Or is this once airline pilot ex-Navy dude screwed? yes I started the program and went to the Module Manager and checked and there is no option for the F-18. Thanks.

This guy obviously bought a returned Oculus Rift that went back to the store. Nobody went through the controllers and took the batteries out so they're they are sitting there probably for a couple of days transmitting energy until he pulled his out of the box and then they automatically turned on. It's very simple. Hide them under your desk and then eventually they time out and go to sleep. This is not a big deal guys. The gloves one day will hopefully work with VR gloves that have yet to be developed. Until then take your panties off.

Yes still an issue in version 1.5 open Beta. I just tried it last night about 4 times in a pre programmed engine failure exercise. It did not trigger.

This is a ripoff if you cannot progress. This was on the A-10C Basic Flight Qual missions. The prohibited engine failure is a no go and the mission hangs.

Any word on this fix? Wish I had known this or I wouldn't have downloaded the Maple Flag missions.....again 3 years later.

Good evening Terry. I've redownloaded all the training missions through the ED store. I am restarting the Basic missions and on the First takeoff and level to 6000 fly heading 060 at 220k, I just blow right past the waypoint 3 EFATO point and the prompt never comes. I flew for over an hour on that heading. Am I missing something? It seems a prompt has stopped working. I am flying this in v1.5 Thanks. I also emailed you about buying these 2 or 3 years ago.

There was no greater campaign that proved the mettle of the A-10 than Iraq Desert Storm. Why the heck was this not developed? Open ocean of sand and scuds along the Iraqi borders. Would be an INCREDIBLE campaign complete with the evolution of why they started using the Hog to hunt SCUDS behind enemy lines.

Does anyone know if VR makes a difference in operation of VIACOM? i still cannot get my menu to come up when I press AUTO transmit and say ATC Options. Can anyone help me with my previous posts and screenshots. I would really love to make this work this afternoon.

and my DCS folder with no temp missons file Wondering if this is an issue. I have 3 versions of DCS on my machine since not playing in over 4 years. I have DCS, DCS OpenBeta and DCS openAlpha. The only reason I downloaded DCS OpenBeta 1.5 was to run the harrier. It is not clear if I need both DCS OpenAlpha and DCS openBeta. i only installed VoiceAttack to look at my original DCS folder which is version 1.5.7.11...

I'm "new" to DCS, again, with all the latest releases on my computer. I followed all the directions in the original post by Hollywood and I can hear my transmit buttons as well as hear the chatter when I request it in the back, I've done the learn my speech thing in Microsoft settings, but I cannot get any response when I PTT the Auto button on my joystick and request ATC, Options. No menu comes up. I know it's me. I'm 45 and don't spend time tinkering on computers like I did in the DOS and WIn 3.11 days. I'm wondering if I missed an update to Viacom along the way in these 80 or so pages of Forum posts. I'm wondering if the ATC script is faulty in my machine because I don't have it set up the right way. I'm on a Win 10 machine and lord knows the god damn permissions and Admin settings could be a big part of the problem. If anyone has a global fix once and all for ME the owner of my machine to be the ADMIN for everything on my damn machine I built. Sheesh. I'd be happy to take screenshots. I worked on this for about an hour yesterday. My log says a lot of stuff but it's hard to tell what is normal and what is a fault.

You need to watch engine temp like a hawk in this aircraft guys, it's part of your scan. Do you guys know what that is? If I were your flight instructor I'd be constantly harping on you. Engine temperature and pressure parameters will prevent blown motors. Please adhere to this rule and SCAN constantly.

This was my exact experience. Will try the F10 option. I imagine all that real world FLAK is making it stutter as well. Any thoughts as to other settings?

Any clues as to how to set graphics settings for best performance in this campaign using an Oculus Rift? Any personal settings you may be using would be greatly appreciated. I'm using a Ryzen 5 1600x chip with 16g of ram plus an Asus 1080 ti card. Should I abandon the 1024 cockpit detail setting?

Trackball mounted at an angle in the right hand lower corner of the Warthog metal stand plate. I use the mouse function in the VR settings and it works like a charm. I've mapped the throttle/joy combo so that I can fly the P-51D with no problems. I flew my first Charnwood mission yesterday and it worked flawlessly. The A-10 is awesome. I'm a real pilot and it was like riding a bike. It will be fun to see what is developed that will allow us to use our real hands. I imagine some sort of glove will be developed that the oculus interfaces with.

Thrustmaster has been little help for me in my issue with my Warthog HOTAS throttle quadrant. Several buttons no longer work. I sent off for a new switch but now the coolie hat is fritzy. I live in Houston. Can anyone here recommend someone I could take it to with the hopes of repairing it? Cost a lot for a joystick and now it is worthless. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello folks. I've got two broken buttons on my HOTAS Warthog throttle due to either faulty equipment or corrosion from moisture exposure. Not really sure if the latter is fixable without me completely disassembling the throttle...i've gotten close, mind you, had the handle apart but have not removed the throttles yet to see if there is corrosion on the boards beneath them. With that said, can someone supply me with photos of a throttle dis-assembly? Any German TM techs on these boards who could supply me with pictures? I was an avionics tech in the Navy and am not afraid of electrical projects. I welcome them as a hobby. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Other than this tiny problem my joystick throttle combo has worked incredibly well. Thanks

It does show continuous pressure. ugh. TARGET completely fails to work because of a Win 10 and FAST service incompatibility

But the slew button is now dead, contacted TM tech support, will wait. The Coolie hat though, behaves as though it is performing multiple short presses and refuses to perform any long hold presses. Any advice on if I can fix this in TARGET? If so how? Or is this also a broken button.

Mine died yesterday. Would love a better replacement. This guy could make some nice money creating a kit to upgrade. JMHO

Fantastic. Always best to hear from the real guys. Please post when done in case we missed it. I'm a former real life commercial pilot and instructor, would love to join up with some guys as I learn the A-10C and hone my skills. Please let me know who would be best for me to approach.
