I feel as though until DCS has a provision where you can plan a flight yourself without going into the mission editor, the F10 map is vital, as mia said helos will be hit worst if it's removed.

I though the kneeboard only gave positions of the waypoints on your flight plan

That and you can just relog to undo the runway damage

There's games out there that people who are more serious about WW2 flight simming are using instead, because they just do it better than DCS to say the least.

I've never had the S530D act like an ARH missile, whenever I've had someone break lock from me my missile always goes stupid. I can't comment on the limits of the radar however, it's not something I've been paying an awful lot of attention to but I think I just might in future.

From what I'm seeing the "problem" is due to player stupidity. Why must we have the mission built so that the team isn't doomed by player stupidity? DCS isn't exactly a casual game and I'd like to think everyone who plays has at least a bit of intelligence.

I'm not sure of the correct behaviours of the panel myself but upon taking a missile strike, I had lost the use of several systems and yet none of the Master Caution lights were illuminated. Is this correct?

Honestly all this new stuff is fantastic, the new bases and lives coupled with server stability has given Blue Flag a new lease of life to me, I'm very much looking forward to future rounds.

I've noticed that Red needs to haul ass an awful long way to get fighters on Sochi. I'm not sure what the situation is for blue but is there a word on when we can expect the rest of the slots?

Normally me because Blue ends up stacked when I'm on ;)

I'm just jumping in with my two cents here. I'm more for having the aircraft selection more restricted per side than open. It's not as if anyone on Blue is going to fly the Russian ASFs anyway, it'll just be a case of "Which side does this F-15 locking me belong to"
