I'm getting an issue where I can't even connect to a server, my attempts just time out. Nothing has worked for me so far.

And as stated twice previously hasn't worked for me

I reverted to 1.5.5 and my connection to servers worked fine. Went back to 1.5.6 and it stopped working again...

Will the server connectivity issues and performance issues in 1.5 Open Beta be resolved this weekend?

Surely this is hotfix worthy? I hope there's something for it in a patch tomorrow

Looks to be skewed in the Luftwaffe's favour but that's a DCS problem more than anything. Could be interesting to see how it plays out.

Having this issue also. It's definitely a fault on DCS's end and not mine nor my ISP since IL-2 works just fine for me

I tried that but it didn't help me. I can't connect to any servers at all.

TS can't appease my autism of needing proper frequencies set up on the radio Also my group has tried whisper lists before and they're bloody awful for the purpose

Yeah I believe I'm also having this or a similar issue. Can't connect to any servers regardless of ping, singleplayer works fine, as does multiplayer in other games.

The MiG and Sabre can actually compete with the Tiger and Fishbed so I don't mind having them in the same area

Just throw it in anyway, anyone who's not gonna check the difference between a 15 and a Sabre or a 21 and a Tiger would friendly fire regardless of aircraft type :lol:

I buzz airfields when I'm the first of my friends in the air on a public server, I'll avoid the runway when people are trying to take off and landing however. It's not that I'm trying to impress anyone, I just get bored and want to see how far I can push my luck with the airframe

I not only think this section of the post in particular is ridiculous but also highlights the terrible attitude some sim players have. FC3 is just as easy as the mirage to fight in but the non combat systems operation is a tad more complex

It is. I accidentally found that out a couple of weeks ago.

The Su-25T and A-10C are terribly slow compared to the Viggen, the Viggen would be much better than those 2 at OCA strikes, which seems to be the brunt of A2G operations in the scope of Blue Flag.

It's nice when this happens to you in the MiG 21 and renders your RWR useless

Sweden isn't a NATO member though :thumbup: Could work it into the backstory of the scenario why there are red Viggens too, alternate reality where it took off on the export market? Sweden fell in the opening days of the war and the VVS pressed it's materiel into service? LN said there's non Viggen operator nation liveries coming so the possibilities are as wide as the mission maker's imagination!

Forgive me if this has already been asked but where is the Viggen going to be in terms of coalition when round 10 goes live?

Not sure about the radar stick but I believe the Rb05 controller is a pressure sensitive nub of sorts. So it doesn't actually move, it senses the force applied and translates it over to the missile.

I just pulled the trigger on my pre purchase and I'm wondering about waypoints in the Viggen Seeing as the more popular servers (Looking at Blue Flag) generally don't have pre set waypoints, will Viggen pilots be able to use the data entry panel or INS in another way to make a set of waypoints, even if it's just a couple for IP, target and home plate/

Evidently the DCS community just wants bad airquake missions, how else do you explain the 104th being so popular?

I can't think of anything worse than having slammers thrown at you while you're in a Korean War era jet, I think there's a case for them being absent.
