  2. New to the AV8B here. Wondering if im doing something wrong using GBU12s. Im using the litening pod to lase targets and using AUTO (ccrp) mode at various altitudes for level attitude bombing. The release point seems too close to the target because the bomb consistently overshoots the target.. you can tell it acquires the laze because you can see the bomb head trying to point at the target, but the angle is too steep and it has too much energy and ends up overshooting. I end up just doing a CCIP release which works fine but obviously is not ideal vs SA threats. Anybody have tips or is this a bug possibly?
  3. +1 This would be a nice feature for those of us with button boxes. At least being able to bind stuff like RWR volume and radio volumes to potentiometers so i can juggle comms heads up would be great.

  4. Has anyone experienced losing the the CCIP gun reticle when using the C II? It works right away but some point in flight as I flip through the various hud pages and use the various sensors, I come back to my gun and the CCIP gunsight is just gone. The other sights like the cross and 3 different range dot sight works, but my lead computing sight doesnt return. Im on VR if that makes a difference.

  6. Hey folks. Has anyone noticed an extremely high fuel burn rate in the Mi-8? Based on the performance charts in the manual, at 13000kg with anti-ice and partseps on I was expected a burn rate of ~ 1950 L/h, but in practice observed closer to 2800 l/h. That seems very high and I was wondering if maybe the code added the penalties for anti-ice incorrectly. Has anyone noticed this? Perhaps someone has some better cruise performance charts?

  9. So I play a lot on Hoggit, and they just removed the ability to command ground units around from the F-10 map because the combined arms AI pathfinding apparently lags the server very badly. I enjoy flying the Huey and Mi-8, and using the CTLD scripts to create and assemble friendly ground units makes these helicopters relevant in a larger battlefield. Removing the ability to do this now makes the transport helicopters basically useless. Is there any way that path finding can be optimized as to not tank MP servers performance wise? Apparently CA is a low priority but since many servers do this dynamic PVE environment, and use the CTLD scripting, fixing this would benefit the whole community. PLEASE ED!
