Seit Dezember 2021 ist die WORLDS APART Spring 2025 Kampagne in deutscher Sprache erhältlich und wir hoffen sie so auch all jenen zugänglich zu machen die die Huey lieben, aber mit dem Englisch in diesem dynamischen Umfeld Schwierigkeiten haben. Im für die Kampagne reservierten Teil des Forums findet ihr daher auch einen deutschen Thread für Bugreport und Hilfe. BUGREPORT UND HILFE AUF DEUTSCH - WORLDS APART Spring 2025 Campaign - ED Forums (eagle.ru) Zur Kampagne selbst gibt es jedoch auch etwas zu sagen. Wir simulieren weitest möglich den tatsächlichen Einsatz. Dies beinhaltet Interaktion mit Bodenkontrolle und anderen Einheiten unter korrekter Verwendung der Radios und Frequenzen. Der Missionsablauf folgt real life Prozeduren, so wird überwiegend mit einer kalten Maschine begonnen, die Missionen dauern etwas länger als gewöhnlich (40 bis 90 Minuten) und „können“ mit dem korrekten Abschalten des Triebwerks und der Systeme enden. Dem Spieler bleibt dabei die Wahl. Bei allem werdet ihr von eurem Kommandanten mit Rat und Tat unterstützt. Er hilft beim Start, mit den Radios und der Navigation, gibt Hinweise oder meckert, wenn mal etwas nicht ganz richtig läuft. SCHWIERIGKEITSGRAD Die Kampagne ist für Beginner auf der UH-1 nicht unbedingt geeignet !! Sie kann sehr wohl jedoch als Trainingsprogramm für all jene dienen die bereits Grundlagen besitzen. Relativ gute Kontrolle über die UH-1, die über das zum Spaß herumfliegen hinaus geht wird vorausgesetzt. Ebenso grundlegende Kenntnis der Systeme und Radios. Der Startvorgang nach Checkliste steuert erste Aktionen zu beginn jeder Mission und AUTOSTART kann nicht verwendet werden !! EMPFEHLUNG Wir empfehlen dringend mit anderen Kampagnen, wie z.B. der mit der UH-1 gelieferten UN Kampagne erste Erfahrungen zu sammeln. Update for this mission and mission 7 ( A-10 AI problem) will come with the next beta update and is already transferd to ED.

@lefuneste01 Hello. The AI of Doge One has a problem at the moment that needs to be solved by ED. Only uses the weapons on the first pass. We have therefore built in a timed solution that does the job on its own. Once the AI is fixed Doge One should be able to complete the task within the time frame with 4 to 5 passes, so our override will not be active. You are also welcome to arm yourself at the helipad and try to complete the task yourself. ATTENTION: The invulnerability, which can be set via the radio menu, is only valid until the start from the helipad and only protects you from grenade fire on the ground and is then taken back in flight.

Possible workaround: Wait for Wolf 1 Start your Aircraft and bring it into Ground idle. On or two minutes after switching the Inverter ne, one of two Mi-8 overfly the LZ. Go to Flight idle , mission will continue.

@tomeye Thank you very much for your feedback. Not only is it a belated Christmas present, it's also very motivating. It always makes you wonder if the players register and appreciate the many datails and dan effort. For next year I can promise you: We stay true to the urge for realism and the prequel will be at least as good if not better. We are also working on a solution for the length of the missions. Thank you for your work time and effort to assist in the search. For me at the moment it is not cleare what the problem was. But as far as i understand you solved it. Do you use a MOD? And what kind of fix option do you use that can be toggled on and off ? I do not use VR, so i am an the other side odf the moon in that prospective.

@andqui Some of the wayfinding in DCS is completely independent of what was specified in the ME. This is annoying, but in this case you can ignore it. At the point where the vehicle leaves the road and gets lost among the trucks, you should already see the infantry coming out of the forest in front of you. Your comander should also alert you to this. Please look at your kneeboard or the F-10 map. The exact landing zone is marked there and only 20 meters to the left of the road in the clearing.

In flight you need to press AltGr and The Radio menue Button # (on a German keypad)

@wosta Hallo. Mission 1 ist die einzige an der Abstand zu Beginn eine Rolle spilet. Es gibt 2 Möglichkeiten. 1. Du gest hahe ran sobald du aufgefordert wirst. 2 bis 3 Huey längen. Höhe halten nicht vergessen. Wird der Abstand zu groß oder die Höhe weicht zu stark ab gibt's ne Rüge. 4 x beim Hinflug und 4 x bis zur Brücke. Oder. 2 Du hältst von Beginn an sehr großen Abstand. 50m und mehr dann bist du ihm egal und es wird nichts negatives passieren. Macht dir dies Probleme, wird es im folgenden nicht einfacher, auch wenn du nich mehr Angst haben musst das etwas explodiert (ist im Missions Editor übrigens als Triebwerkssvhaden verzeichnet und war so nicht beabsichtigt.) Was dir sicher sehr viel helfen wird sind eine oder 2 Stunden Training. Ich oder ein anderer aus der Staffel kann dir da helfen. @lefuneste01 Hello I use a 6 year old PC with a 1080TI and have no FPS problems in the missions. However, for older PC's and weaker graphics cards, the new weather can become a problem. You are the first to report this so far though. You should avoid flying over the battlefield and interfering though. Any amount of tracers can drop the FPS into the bottomless pit. As for the difficulty of the campaign and the individual missions. First of all my respect. You've already made it this far and have proven a high degree of willpower and discipline. Is the campaign suitable for beginners? If you want to succeed quickly and have fun? No. If you want to learn the actual helicopter flying the hard way? Absolutely. There is a big difference between flying in a helicopter and working with a helicopter. Here you have to work. But I can offer you 1 to 2 hours of online training to bring you to a level that will make it much easier for you. As in any job, it's all about knowing how. The question of mission duration has been there from the beginning and for the upcoming campaign we will try to offer some help. However, missions will not be shorter, because I think that by start fly there, do your thing and fly back in less than 30-40 minutes any sense of realism is lost. Flying generally means waiting and taking care. Many jet pilots who try their hand at helicopter flying find this particularly difficult.

@KoalaDoraemon Fuel becomes scarce towards the end of the mission. Can't imagine anything other than an engine fire (TOT overrun). Bug of course not excluded. Will test fly on Sunday and record immediately.
