  1. Okay, I will disable it. I assume that I have to manually dial in the freq's in the Viggen?
  2. My settings in DCS 1.5 Open Beta are set exactly the same as in DCS 1.5 stable version. In both versions the easy comms are turned on and radio assists is turned off. All communications work with my other airplanes in all 3 DCS versions like the A-10C, F-15C, M2000, etc. but not the Viggen. In the DCS 1.5 stable version and in DCS 2.0 I never set a frequency manually. I hit F5 and then select the appropriate ATC or wingman command or JTAC contact and it all works just fine without me touching a freq knob.
  3. I have had in DCS settings the radio assists turned on and off. I cannot get ATC to communicate with me or anyone else (wingman, etc.). I ask an airbase for vectors, landing clearance, inbound, take off, etc. and I never get a response. What do I need to change in the Viggen's settings in order to fix this? The only people that communicate with me is the ground crew. If this is a known bug...Sorry for this post.
  4. Got it. Thank you.
  5. I don't have Track ir so I can't move my head around and look at the forward side of the radarstick as easily as those of you that have Track ir. On my Sidewinder joystick I have only 1 button assigned to cycle thru A0, A1, A2, and it works great. I could also assign A0, A1, and A2 to a keyboard key if I wanted to, but it gives me the option to do this on its 3 position switch on the joystick or keyboard by only binding 1 key to it. As I said earlier, I know where the radarstick key settings (bindings) are located. For T0, T1, and TV it will not allow me to assign the 3 way switch to a keyboard key. So I guess that I am only allowed to assign 2 joystick keys to it and not a single keyboard key or single joystick key to keep it simple?
  6. On the radarstick there is a 3 position switch of A0, A1, A2 which dcs allows me to assign a button to. The 3 position switch that the Adjust Controls (assignments page) page for T0 or TV does not allow me to assign a button to. When I look at the radarstick I do not see a switch or button labeled T0, TV, or T1. The tutorial video in the sticky above this thread on the rb75 does not say anything about pressing T0, T1, or TV. Am I correct?
  7. Will an interactive training mission like the rocket pod mission ever be made for the rb75? I have read this forum and watched the tutorial videos in this forum, and I still cannot get the crosshairs to move in the electrical sight after numerous attempts. I printed the step by step instructions from a post in this forum and followed to the letter because the person who posted the post said this is super easy and laid out 6 simple steps, but I cannot get the crosshairs to move. They remain boresighted. I pull the trigger on the control stick to uncage the seeker's crosshairs in the ep sight but I just can't get the crosshairs to move. The dial on the left is moved from NAV to ANF, and the dial on the right is set to RB-75. The tutorial video that is in this forum, as a sticky post with other tutorials, for the rb75 just says the word, trigger, in the tutorial video but another post by someone who thinks this is super easy uses the word radarstick trigger. I have looked at the button assignment page and made my up/down/left/right arrows as the controls for the radar stick in order to control the crosshairs. BUT in the assignments page I see no word that says radarstick trigger. Is their a separate trigger on the radarstick other than the trigger on the control stick?
  8. My trims are at 0.
  9. My problem is roll instability at any speed which leads to immediate nose pitch instability. I take my hand off the stick or disable autopilot and it rolls right every time, and it rolls right pretty fast.
  10. Me too in 1.5.6 Open Alpha.
  11. The recreation is an amazing simulation of the Viggen! Well done developers. But I do agree that something is wrong. I have the F-15C, M-2000, A-10C, Sabre, Su-27 and as long as the stores and fuel tanks on both sides are equal, these planes always maintain a fairly straight and level flight if I let go of the stick if I am manually flying in straight and level configuration. I always have the SPAK on as usual in the Viggen, and I noticed that in the majority of the cases it always enters a hard right bank angle accompanied by a ever dropping nose pitch the moment I let go of the stick when my stick is centered. Therefore as soon as the altitude and heading is where I want it, I have to immediately engage the attitude and altitude hold modes. I always check all trims and they are at 0 degrees at all times, and this happens no matter what the wind component is. The stores are balanced or I am flying a clean Viggen with only a center fuel tank. The right bank happens regardless. The flight controls are dead center which makes this even more strange.
  12. I got the training mission to work. The Mig bombers that I described above are the mission's target come to find out. I do agree with GrmlZ about being given the incorrect qfe. The little circle does not display as it should on the hud. So I hit some of the targets by the second time I tried the mission, but only did so by dead reckoning. What is the correct qfe because my mission briefing in flight is almost entirely blank?
  13. CCIP training flight The CCIP bombing training flight for the Viggen does not work. When it is loaded, DCS acts like you are trying to hop onto an online multiplayer session. And the area where you are is in an observers wooden tower overlooking a ramp of Mig bombers. My Viggen is installed and flying in DCS 1.5 Open Alpha.
  14. Thank you all. I now have all 3 versions installed, and the Viggen is working in DCS 1.5 Open Beta.
  15. I pre-purchased the Viggen and read that I need to download the 1.5 Open Beta (Early Access). Then I read another thread in this Viggen forum that says that installation will not take long because the 1.5 Early Access will basically copy files from my existing DCS installs, which for me is 1.5 and 2.0 Open Alpha with the Nevada scenery. The downloader that I downloaded from was from: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/beta/ and it was taking a long time and not a short time, only 4 or 5 MB per second. So I then cancelled the download about 20 minutes into it because I noticed that files were being copied from my DCS 2.0 folder. So was I doing the right thing? Also, can I have all 3 versions of DCS on my same C:\ drive?
  16. Thank you everyone. Very helpful!
  17. Thank you all for the info on the EP-15. 1 other question: Did I read it correctly somewhere or on youtube where the Viggen's autopilot has a low level terrain avoidance system?
  18. For someone like me who does not have Track IR, how would I use the EP-13 radar aiming scope?
  19. My mistake between ME and MP. I do wish that you could add airplanes to a mission in the MP just as you can in the ME.
  20. As you can see in my screenshot of my ME, I do not have the nice list of icons to click on the left side of the ME as all video tutorials show for both 1.5 and 2.0. What am I doing wrong?
  21. Thank you and I figured out how to do that. But is the attached screenshot a known bug? It takes the ME in 2.0 almost 1 minute to load the map.
  22. When will M-2000C wingmen have weapons? Whenever I look at my wingmen they do not have any weapons.
  23. I have checked with the DCS 2.0 updater and it says that I am running the most up to date version 2.0.3.56503.102 I used to fly missions in 2.0 with the A-10C with a lot going on, many aircraft and ground forces, etc. I have only tried the A-10C's Red Flag once but when I went to fly the 1st mission in the A-10C Red Flag campaign DCS begins to stutter around when I'm flying base to final and then before landing DCS ctd. Is this a known bug that is being worked on?
  24. Thank you! Much appreciated.
