How about a first gen jet fighter? Like the Hawker Hunter, or maybe a straight wing fighter like the F-80 or F-84?

What if an actual 3rd party company that makes maps and environments for sims like FSX, start making maps for DCS? ORBX comes to mind

This plane would be most ideal for the new SOH map coming out! Think of the missions and servers this could fly on! Alongside all the other planes we currently have!

If it's a western aircraft, i hope it is either Century series, or some cold war bird that has seen significant combat. If it's Eastern I hope it's similar in terms of combat history but also a surprise. Be it a Mig-17 or a Mig-25, or possibly an Su-15 :O

If Vietnam can be a plan, I really hope a couple of Century series fighters like the F-104 or F-105 can be there

A Backfire is already being made actually. The B-1 maybe too advanced, I think a Convair B-58 Hustler would be better

Well let's not forget that is working on like almost 4 aircraft simultaneously ATM. There's the Harrier which is nearing completion, then there's the Mirage III, Mig-19, Super Tucano, and I believe also the A-7 Corsair (which I think we need ASAP)

Just to let you know, incase it's a century series fighter, I happen to know a guy who actually flew the F-100, F-102 and F-106 during the Nam days, maybe I can get you guys in touch with him ;)

Awesome! Also when the Phatoms get added, will Iranian Phantoms be added as red side Phantoms? Also could a similar thing be done with the F-5? So F-5 pilots like me can fly for a legitimate Mid eastern Tiger operator for the red side in some different colors ;)

I have a question (And I know there is still plenty of time but still), in the future when the Phantom gets released, will all the Viggens be replaced by Phantoms? Cause the way I see it, atm, the Viggen is being used more like a Phantom substitute

I second this, also for suggestions, using other factions for red side western fighters, or blue side Russian fighters could be a really good idea, and could add to more realism too. Iranian F-5s for one, so the Blue side players would be forced to see if the F-5 is Green or camo colored and then engage. Or to spot the roundel which makes it more realistic too for WVR engagements.
