Exactly, heck some people like to say the Mig-21 is the equivalent of the F-5E in DCS but that's not true. The Mig-21 is too advanced for the F-5E, but that doesn't mean one should complain about it

Is there any chance this AIM-9X might get added to the F-15C as well? So we can then do off boresight missile shots in the F-15C is well?

Thanks man, no problem :) :thumbup: However I would like to highlight, that some of the countries like Iran are already in the Red coalition, so in their case all that needs to be done is to change the Russian F-5s to Iranian. Right but this was in reference to all the normal skins. Ever since that F-5E skin contest, a whole bunch of skins were added to the game as default skins. So that is what I was refering t. And they were all evenly distributed to their respective countries

Ok than you. But I wanted to know, was that line removed when this update happened? Because the skins were well distributed among these countries by default

In the earlier version it was great that all the skins were placed in their respective countries, like IRIAF and Azaraksh for Iran, Saudi for Saudi, PAF for Philippians, and US for USAF and USAF Aggressors. Now since the updates, all the skins are in all the countries, like when I select Iran or Saudi Arabia, the USAF skins are all there as well. Can this please be fixed in the next update? Thank you :)

@Maverick, could we see the inclusion of other countries in the missions? Like Iran for the red side F-5s, and maybe India or some other country for blue side Mig-21s?

I volunteer at the Oakland Aviation Museum. I met an A-6 Intruder pilot there who actually shot down a Mig-15 in Vietnam. And I asked him to confirm whether it was a 15 or a 17 and he said yes it was a 15 not a 17, and even his copilot confirmed it was a 15.

It's not about the creating a confusion but rather a more realistic challenge. I mean to create a more realistic cold war scenario. Maybe a small force of just 4 F-5s in the red team as Iranians for instance. Similarly a small force of Blue Mig-21s, maybe from India or some other Blue country which is ex Soviet. And these also be limited to just 4. This will add better to the mix and to the fun! It'll also add to the realism :thumbup:

I have a suggestion for the Cold war server. Since this is going to be a cold war scenario with multiple countries participating and there is going to be a mix of different countries and planes. Why not add more to the mix for fun. Here's what I mean........ When you create a new mission or if you modify the current one, why not use other countries as well? For instance, for the F-5E, on the blue side you can use Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Spain, Norway etc. Whereas for the F-5Es on the red side you can add Iran instead of Russia as it's not exactly realistic. Similar thing can be done for the Mig-21, for the blue side you can add India (with the appropriate paint scheme). Whereas for the red side you can add Iran, China, Insurgents, North Korea and more along with Russia. This provides more use and variety of those awesome new factions we have plus. It also adds realism and even helps in identifying friendlies from enemies. However in the case of certain planes like the Mig-21. All the paint schemes are there for all the countries unlike BST neatly arranging it's paint schemes among the countries respectively making them more realistic. So in the case of the Mig-21s, you will have to choose the paint scheme meticulously for each country you set them for. But I really hope this can happen is it'll be so much fun Really thought it was a great idea for this

Ah that's good to know, there are times when the F-4's various variants can be really confusing, but it's good to know, glad to have learned something new! BTW speaking of these, I hope ED can separately make one of those Navalised F-4 variants as AI along with the F-4E which as you said is strictly for the air force
