True, but they're not available for the coalition yet, and to add them to the coalition would mean compromising the integrity, unless it's done officially by ED themselves. And really it takes like few minutes to do, just saying :D

Can an update contain the F-15C being available for Japan and Saudi Arabia with their respective skins? As in the new update we are getting Chinese planes like the J-11 along with the release of the Harrier. We also have the Su-27 for the Chinese faction, so a Japanese F-15 is the perfect counter for it. We also have the new SOH map incoming for which the Saudi F-15C would fit like a glove. Also, either of the factions could serve as a good red side F-15 operator for certain online servers too...... ;)

I think the best emphasis anyone can put into is the cold war era. It could be Vietnam, Middle East with Israel, Europe, India/Pakistan/China/Japan, or Korea etc. Any of these would be gladly accepted by the community
-
In the future quite a few British Cold war planes would make it into the game, the Gannet would fit perfectly for that
-
I would totally +1 for the 3D mission editor! That would be so cool for DCS!!
-
Since DCS has a lot of scope for cold war era planes and maps, why not also include a few more AWACS planes for the right era like.... EC-121 Warning Star.... This plane would make for the perfect blue side Air Force AWACS, and can be incorporated into many of the cold war missions and server. For the Navy the E-1 Tracer is another really cool option to look at.... The E-1 would make yet another amazing addition since we have a lot of cold war era stuff coming to DCS (hopefully including ships and carriers) Finally, one for the Red side...... This plane was around a similar era as the EC-121 and E-1B and used the same engines as the Tu-95 and it's family And one for the European side, this British aircraft the Fairey Gannet AEW.3...... Another Naval AWACs from the Brits would also make for another excellent addition

Says video is unavailable :/

I think Kuwait being a Middle Eastern country and a Hornet Operator, would be perfect as a faction in DCS for the SOH map, plus, it can give way for creating campaigns and missions for the Hornet in SOH! Also servers can use Kuwait as a fictional red side Hornet operator instead of resorting to using only Russia as a red side operator.

Has the AI Draken from Heatblur been included?
-
Yup that's the one

The sound mod isn't mine, it's already released. My only question was would the sound be more realistic like that one in the future? Hopefully
-
But out of curiosity, is there any chance it would be made?
-
The Sound of this aircraft (and actually many more in DCS) although they have all the fidelity and authenticity of the real plane, i think one area they severely lack is sound. If you compare the sounds of a real Mirage 2000, mainly the startup and taxiing sounds of the engine, they sound very different from the one in the game. Now I know they might never be 100% alike, but I think it can be improved to sound more realistic. Take this video for example of the Mirage 2000 startup..... And compare it with this one from the game.... Here is one in the game which used a sound mod which is in my opinion the most realistic sounding Mirage 2000 sound mod..... I think this is the best sound I've come across as it sounds very close to the real thing. It does need work on the startup and the afterburners but it's really good nonetheless

Just got this idea, if Razbam is given the go to create a Mirage 2000-5 for DCS, can they release it as a cheaper upgrade to the original Mirage 2000C that we have, where in just like the GPS addon for the Mi-8 requires you to have the Mi-8 first, then you can buy the GPS for about 15 bucks. Similarly a 2000-5 upgrade can be created and it would require you to have the M2000C first, and it can be sold for about 15 or 20 bucks?
-
The A-4 is already being made, albeit will be a mod unfortunately. The A-6 and A-7 were planned by Razbam. Mirage F-1 is in the works by Aviodev, and the others well, no idea
-
Yes I'm well aware of that haha, but nonetheless worth a shot right? ;)
-
How about a Draken? It was supersonic and unlike the Viggen it too was exported, however idk if it saw actual combat
-
That was a suggestion too, and since it's a plane with an Afterburner, why not a Mig-17 too while you're at it ;)
-
Could it be possible for the development of a more realistic looking flickering afterburner flame for the F-5s? Somewhat like how Heatblur/LN did it on the Viggen and the Mig-21 and soon on the F-14. Also it could be made to look like it's visible within the exhaust during the day like this...... And at night it changes when it gets dark and the whole flame becomes visible like this.....
-
True, which is why the Mig-25 sounds more possible as it's so much older and has already been sorta exposed. Also I wouldn't say everything looks depressing for the RED side in DCS. I mean if you can't get enough Russian planes, why not some Chinese planes? Deka Ironwork is already working on a JF-17 which is very surprising. They are also planning for another Chinese plane after that. I really hope it happens. We need more variety especially in the RED side
-
Well there ya go, it should make it easier to get the info. I see no reason why the Mig-25 should have anymore secracy
-
But the Mig-25 is really old and available in so many countries. Why would classification for that plane be an issue?
-
25 sounds ideal, they clashed with the F-14s in the Iran/Iraq war. Plus we have the SOH map coming up! Sounds perfect
-
Like a Mig-23? Nah a Mig-25 would be more like it
