  1. Can confirm this, I cannot trust DL at all at the moment, always need to IFF first. And sometimes I see myself marked red on the radar. Since I get it from the beginning of the round I try to load a short record soon. This made me shoot 3 friendlys already.. it’s a serious bug
  2. right now I'm doing a "go around" for that, using an old or unneccessary steerpoint and moving that one over the target steerpoint. like that nothing's in danger to get messed up. I sometimes had the bug/problem, that the TGP was moving all over the place when I dropped the last GBU. But i dont have that always. I try to reproduce the behaviour and report it here later.

  6. I found the mistake. There was a double binding in the gui layer for VR zoom, which I had overseen.. :doh::lol:
  7. hey folks, It is very strange, propably best described in this video I made. I can bind the button, it reacts in the key binding settings when I press the buttons, but ingame, it does not do anything when I press it. https://youtu.be/UdfgotYyyx8 -I already tried searching for a double bind and double checked if the button works in general. -There are people who dont have the problem with the same config. So its me.. -Its with every module, I can bind the button, but it does not work ingame. -I just flashed the Gunfighter with the newest firmware -ran repair for DCS Running out of ideas. I think it has to be be somewhere in DCS what's wrong. But no Idea where to search anymore. Whats the trick to open the console? Doesnt work for me. Any ideas beside format:c`? :P greetings, park
  8. And I noticed something else. Always had problems in the Mirage with the Zoom button of the VKB gunfighter not zooming in. It works with other modules flawless. I changed it doing special modes FWD/AFT, but doesnt work as well. Didnt noticed until now, because I didn't needed them much so far. Its weird, the button itself works, I can bind it in the settings, just ingame its not working.
  9. Thanks jojo for your quick reply. That actually works! Still having a hard time not seeing that cross on the HUD on AG, but thats propably me being always too low, steep etc.. still new on this :lol: But I cannot seleect magics anymore? The "S" does not appear. And when I want to change to GunsMode it keeps blinking down left. When I change multiple times GunMode/MasterArm from ON to OFF on ON again, it stops blinking and they work... Just got into this module and learned everything and now I feel like Im at the beginning again.. :noexpression:
  10. Hi together, for instance, if I want to attack ground targets, I select bombs on my PCA but nothing changes in the HUD. I get no information where they are going to fall in CCIP.. it just stays at normal mode. The same with rockets. After clicking around on the PCA I cannot select anything anymore. Also the cannons only work, after trying to select/deselect them. The update did destroy a lot for me in the mirage :( Greetings, park
  11. So, its actually not a big deal. I basically just bound the buttons on the FlapSwitch of the WarthogThrottle to deploy flaps, flaps 0 and flaps 45. button F, Numbuttons 3 and 1 Like that, in whatever position the switch is in the beginning, it will select the right one in the MIG. So no need to synchronize Warthog SwitchPosition to MigFlaps-Switch position. for instance, my Warthog Switch is on position 45° but right after spawning in, the switch in the cockpit is 0°. Putting the switch on the one step forward to the 25° Position, the switch in the cockpit goes from forward to middle position -> done :smilewink:
  12. I somehow managed a way to make it a 3 way button in the right TARGET software, no scripting. I will post the solution when Im back home today. It is fairly simple and does not need to be synced with the actual flaps position :)
  13. Hi together! So I searched for a little while for an answer, but I might try it here now. Been away from flying the 21 for quite a while now and noticed the changes in the flightmodel and the SAU as well. I dont remember the SAU being that rough when activated. Every time I get a more or less heavy negative pitch when activating the SAU (~20m/s).. After the plane has recovered I lost a good amount of altitute (about 100m+). That happens even when Im activating it while its perfectly trimmed out in level flight.. I feel like it wasnt like that before.. and its annoying activating it in low alt Am I totally missing something here or is it really just supposed to be that way now?.. :joystick:

  15. yes, it just feels badass to take off and it is very rewarding when you start to learn how to handle it and score the first kills. What I like most, is that you only work with those rudimentary systems. even just navigating in bad weather from A to B at night is fun and a challenge. The flight instructor of my brother did flew the mig21 as a military pilot and he told us that you, even if you are already fast, get kicked into the seat when you activate the afterburner. It felt basically like a rocket with a seat attached on it :D
  16. scored my first 5 kills in online in the Mig today. this is amazing ... after such a long time of flying around as an easy target, I finally brought them something back to catch today :D still struggling with open fights against the F5 and SARs though or keeping track of a target. 4 out of 5 hits were made with r60s (one R-3R) and with mountains close by to sneak away. Several times I locked a target, but had no chance to keep it on them if they break away. :joystick: And the videos helped a lot Hadwell, thanks! That was exactly what I needed :)

  18. well, it was the server indeed. :doh: I was playing on the Fishbed vs F5E server today without problems. But why is the Mig21 not choosable for me on the others?
  19. Thanks for your quick replys! I'm still at work right now (rather one of those non-efficient-mondays, haha :music_whistling:) About to be home in around 1hour, then I try to get the log file asap. I tried multiple servers, the Aerobatic Server, BlueFlag etc. It doesnt seemed to be server related.
  20. Hey Folks, could not find a thread related to this problem yet and it is new to me, it worked a couple of weeks ago. After I connected successfully to a MP Server, I click on a slot for choosing a role (Mig21 for instance, but doesnt work with any plane I have). My name shows up there only for a split second and I end up on the player list on the left side again. I disabled all mods and my DCS is updated. Any solutions? I have no idea where I should start with troubleshooting. Thanks!

  22. Yes! It worked, I only messed around with the Custom Check box, but never changed avionic lanugage to english. Now everything is back to normal. Thanks a bunch Ramsay, made my day :)
  23. Or even two 2TB SSDs and couple them together in a RAID system for double speed. If I just had a MoneyTree in my Garden, I would do a lot of beautiful things with it :D Correct. Considering ram rather as a small upgrade, I only wrote the next BIG thing is the GPU. More DDR happens along the way, fortunately its not expensive anymore. Also a point is upgrading to Windows10, from what I heard it can better operate newer CPUs and SSDs than Windows 7 and support higher DirectX. Maybe it also works better with a 4k Resolution. Windows 7 sadly is not usable in 4k (everything's to little)
